Hey guys it’s me again!
… I’m germinating three strands presently for planting (white widow/salty caramel kush/chem dog daddy)… should I buffer/flush my premixed 70/30 coco coir perlite mix?… also I’m using cal mag to start as well as earthworm castings from wiggle worm… help:flushed:
Is this the Fox Farms 70/30 blend? Coco is inert and free of all needed nutrients and will need more than worm castings and calmag. I would recommend wetting the coco to run off using a cannabis friendly fertilizer like Jacks 321 or mega crop at 800-1000 PPMs with a PH of 5.8-6.0. I start my seedlings in solo cups mainly to help with root growth and transplant to the final pot of coco mentioned above. The solo cup coco mix is the same as above as well ![]()
I’m using general hydroponics 3 part series… I also have some big bloom fox farms silica and bush doctor kelp me kelp you… was reluctant to add anything else before planting my seeds don’t want to burn them… any suggestions with this line up?
Soaking the coco in Jacks to run off is a good idea and it’ll give you a great start to your grow.
My preference for nutes in coco is Jacks 321 with the FF Trio:
I would recommend the Flora micro and Flora grow for the veg period. Soak the coco with a mix of these 2 at 800 PPMs and a PH of 5.8-6.0 ![]()
