Bud wash AFTER drying?

I harvested two outdoor plants, fem photo blueberry and white widow from seedsman. I was lazy and didn’t do a bud wash. Now I’m almost done drying, I’ve been losing some of the blueberry to mold in the buds. Lesson learned.

I was thinking of doing a wash when they’re done drying, before I trim and cure. Does anyone have experience or advice? Should I just follow standard bud washing process and dry with a fan?

From what I understand and heard is that a bud wash can’t be done after buds are dried. But I’m sure someone will give an explanation to you

Before dry, why would you want to wet down dried flower?

You would have to redry the weed.

Bud wash is done before you dry them.

Besides not washing after drying, if you have the bud-rotted buds stored in the same area as others drying, they all more than likely, are now contaminated with the spores of the rotted buds.

Separate them now and watch the unaffected ones very closely. If you’re ready to cure, you might choose to keep as many separated into small groups until you can be sure they aren’t going to grow mold… sorry… I know you didn’t want to hear that… sucks, man

I would say ur buds had mold in them before the drying stage at this point ur in now where ur buds are dry its not worth bud washing them again .but u can have alook on the internet about it but i think u have to cut ur loses

Do you have pics?

Hey everyone I really appreciate your responses. I think I got my answer - it’s too late to do a wash. I’ll remember for the next run.

I’d like to say my mold problem isn’t what I was trying to fix with a wash, and thank you everyone that pointed out a wash won’t fix mold issues. I saw some white fuzz on few buds and would just take out the whole branch from the drying area. Not worth the risk.

Thanks to everyone!
