Bud washing question

So I cut a few stalks a week ago and have had them hanging and drying for 7 days. I did not wash those buds. Today I cut down the rest and did a bud was on all of it. After the wash it looks and smells a lot better than the stuff I didn’t wash. My question is is it too late to wash the bud that has been drying for 7 days?

Its possible rinse with h202 start re drying it will dry up quicker .I have had no I’ll effect treating dry bud
