How many weeks until flower for the bubba kush auto. I’m running several strains in my grow and am currently at week 8 since they broke ground. As the other plants are well into flower, I’m seeing no signs of flower yet for the BK auto. Curious what other growers have experienced with this strain. Thanks!
Strain has little to do with time to start flowering. It’s a cannabis plant like any other. Most autos will flower at between 4 and 7 weeks, but we have seen them take as long as 12 weeks.
I agree with the MidWesterner above me. Sometimes, they take time.
But also some autos are more photoperiod dominant than we expect, and may need a bit of a push into flower (shorter light hours). Just a part of genetics, some will buck the norm.
What’s the photoperiod you are using? I had one and I’ve seen others on this forum have this same issue.
They may need a push into flower by changing the light period to 12x12.
I hear some growers are running 24x0 but the places on earth with 24x0 are at the poles. No cannabis grows naturally in an environment that is 24x0.

If I put them under 12x12 how will the other autos respond? Thought autos were fine under 18x6
If you switch your light cycle to 12/12 it wont harm the others at all ive grown autos on 12/12 & 18/6 and like stated above some autos just simply take longer to flower but switching to 12/12 will indeed force her switch
For autos Does the 12/12 differ in yield opposed to 18/6 ?
Out of the 4 times ive grown autos on 12/12 compared to 18/6 ive seen no difference in yield i average 3 zips per auto ive ever grown
Honestly, I would be shy if trusting everything a seed bank tells you. If a plant isn’t switching to flower automatically then it’s not an auto flower. I’ve done extensive breeding with both regular and sunflowers (including hybrids). When an auto flower is mixed with a regular flowed they produce hybrids. These hybrids are always dominated by the regular stain. However, if you mated a hybrid like that with another auto flower, half of the offspring will be regular and half will be auto flowers. The new offspring will be a combination of F1 and F1 with pure auto flower genetics. If switching to 12 on and 12 off is needed, then you likely have a F1 hybrid.
