7th week with autos and no flowering?

Hello again, this is where I’m at, they were transplanted from sprouted seeds into rock wool on September 2nd, 3gallon Meesh bags, light cycle is and has been 18/6. 4x8 tent running 2 600 rspec Samsung htc lights now at 100%.

My question is, should I try 12/12? These are supposedly autos which I bought from Ilgm, the fruity kush mix.

I Haven’t seen any crazy growth in awhile and I keep trimming leaves that are blocking new leave sites.

Thank you

Autos usually start flowering between 4 to 7 weeks. The good thing if they’re not flowering you’re going to end up with bigger plants. 12/12 Light schedule will kick them into the flowering mode. Good luck :v::+1:

In addition to what @kellydans has said - we’ve seen autos flower as quickly as 2.5 weeks and as late as 12 weeks.

Nice looking plants. Be patient and happy growing.

Ok thanks guys.

Another stupid question………. When I change to 12/12? I leave that until harvest correct?

Autos don’t care about the light cycle. I would leave them at 18/6 to maximize your DLI.

In some the ruderalis misfires. I would givem couple more weeks then just flip myself. I had a gg auto that never flipped. Manually flipped her and cloned her for 2 years.

For what it’s worth, ILGM doesn’t have an autoflower version of the Fruity Kush mix pack that I was able to find.

You very likely have photoperiods.

Lol so I need to flip to 12/12 or I’ll never have flowers?:joy:

Correctomundo. Sorry to say it but you’ll need to reduce the light to get them to flower. You could try 14/10 and see if they do it with that reduction.

I don’t understand, why not 12/12?

They were planted into rock wool at about 2” on September 2

More light = bigger plants. You can jump straight down to 12/12 to ensure she flowers right away, but the sun changes available daylight day by day, gradually, not all at once. You start the season by going from something like 18/6 down to 16/8 down to 14/10 and so on, as the months progress. Some grows do just fine on 14/10 with no additional reduction in light, because it was enough to get her flowering.

This is theoretical, it’s worth noting I run 12/12 because I continually rotate plants, I’ve never had the pleasure of doing a 14/10 flower cycle.

Last question, does it stay at 12/12 until harvest then? Thank you

Yep! Whatever light schedule you choose to induce flowering is where you should stay. If you do 12/12, you can always reduce light hours but I wouldn’t increase them.
