Bruce Banner Feminized Plant

Oh my Oh My Bruce Bruce Bruce

This one has been one heck of whirlwind. First this girl barely made it through seedling stage. She was placed in tent April 29. By 06/14 she finally had some growth, not much. 06/16 transplanted to perm. pot. By 06/30 she was short and bushy. 07/31 she got a really bad nute burn. Flushed her out cut off all bad leaves. She was bare. But she came back strong. 09/20 Buds started forming. 10/11 leaf edges seemed burned top leaves lime/yellowish. 10/18 removed some yellow leaves. Buds grouping together, plant is as tall as light. Using a yoyo to tilt the plant away from light. Moved light over and tilted it so the top was not getting a direct hit. So between 10/11-10/18 I came home 2 days in a row and I could smell Bruce soon as I walk in. By day 2 I realize the light was too strong and bruce was smoking herself. LORDT! My dogs were high all day. Anyways I cut back as much of the burnt leaves as I could. But still have the issue of burnt edges buds burning up. I did turn the light way down to 75%. I calculated harvesting around 11/29. I don’t know if she will make it 4 wks or so. What do I do? , I don’t think it’s health. Flush with balance water? PH has been around 6.3 - 6.5 at the highest. Flora Nova bloom, light Barrina BU2000, tent 36x36x72. See pictures and let me know what you think please.

She smoked herself. LOL  But thanks, she has been a challenge.

I really want her to go until 11/29, 10 wks. But I don’t know exactly what stage she is in becuz of the nute burn earlier then the burning buds. She had a lot of white pistils that could be half burnt or amber. sugar leaf tips crumbled away-sticky! :frowning:

Do you think I should flush her with balanced water?

Don’t know about the flush.
As for growing into the light tie the tall ones over. Looks like you have room for it.

Should I flush it? Last nite I gave her balance water. Seems fine but not over perky looking, that why I think she might be whining down. Trichomes are all over the place, again partially burnt. I am going pull dead leaves or yellow leaves and try to look at them again.

I have a yo yo keeping her leaning to the side, rotating her everyday.

If you flush make sure to let your pot get lite. I say this because in some of the pics it looks overwatered.
Also do you know your ph and ppm. No need to flush if they are in order.

How many weeks in flower, their appetite slows down considerably the last few weeks, I generally water feed the last 2 weeks leading up to harvest :love_you_gesture:

my banner is doing the same thing some days she’s happy and some days she’s down weird

Hi There!

10/25 marked week 5 of bloom. The last 2 watering I gave her just balanced water, moved the light and her leaves have perked up. I hope to let her go until 11/29 (10 wks). She has a lot of white pistols, so I know she is not ready.

I am starting to think she got too much nutes and plus too close to the light which lead to the burn. Going to skip the flushing. Just give her balanced water for a few more times. I guess she needed a break.

I was reading on bruce and it said she doesn’t need a lot nutes and to only feed half the dosage for whatever the bottle states. I did not know this, so by week 3 of bloom the burning began.

I think I over nuted her. The PH has been around 6.3 - 6.5 at the highest. Balanced water seems to be working for her.

Nice. Well not nice but glad you figured it out.

Bruce just hasn’t not been looking good. I finally went for the flush. When I started the PPM 1458 PH 5.69, then after PPM 1753 PH 6.08. The PPH is way too high right? Should I flush more? I just read not to use balance water, just use regular water. It also said the regular water normally has high PH ( it does), and since you are flushing it doesn’t matter.

Bruce is only 6 wks in bloom. I want to let her go til 11/29-ish

Bruce is 6 wks in with 3/4 wks left. maybe I will just keep giving her balanced water? I was wondering after a flush how soon do you give it nutes.

Apparently she really has had enough

You would think the Hulk could take anything you throw at it. But no, my Brucie got Nitrogen toxicity early in veg too. Did a full flush and he seems to be good now.

Water only at higher PH, if that’s soil.

I would suspect the low PH is the culprit. 6.0 is well below the range for nutrient uptake by the roots. The PPMs are a little high but not too bad for soil. Water feed only for several rounds at 6.8-7.0 to liberal run off and check the PH and PPMs after each watering :love_you_gesture:

Some of the leaves are turning lime green. Bout to water now before lights out.

She got some water. Lights out! LOL

PPM 1267 and PH 6.06 water was 7.0. I will get her tomorrow.
