Brown Spots forming

1 week old blue dream auto. Leaf spot showed up yesterday. Growing indoors with 1000 w led lamp on 24 hours and continuous fan blowing. Plastic pot and organic potting soil which I allow to dry out between watering. Well water with dilute 25 8 16 plant food, ph is 6.9, TDS 1039. Runoff ph is 5.6, TDS 2370. Any suggestions? The leaves have not had anything sprayed or splashed on them.

i could be wrong, i’ll wait for other to chime in also @PurpNGold74 @dbrn32 @oldmarine @OlyBoy98503 @anon86641082 , but even at DILUTED, that is a pretty STRONG fert for such a small seedling. Even the liquid nutes for cannabis (FF, GH, etc) are only 1-0-0 on the base nute and very low on the veg nute also. That’s pretty “hot” soil now, as they say, with nutes, for even bigger seedlings with 3 or 4 nodes already

What kind of soil as in brand

Hey @De1 , havent met u so Welcome to ILGM.

Like @TheVirginian said, that 1000 ppms is a bit much to be pouring on a seedling that young. And ur runoff is over 2k so I wouldnt be rushing to add more nutes for the next week or two. That low pH is probably saving her from a case of nute burn.

But as to the damage. U see the slight cuppage of ur leaves? Thats likely light/heat stress. With a 1000w LED (more then likely its not quite that strong, they advertise and pull two COMPLETELY diff numbers usually) still the light height maybe an issue.

What exact light are you using?

How far from the plant is it?

Also the type of soil would defo help

Please fill out a ticket and be specific to your 1000w led. Since actual 1000w led lights run north of my entire investment to date in growing. If you don’t include seeds… lol.

Sounds like you’re feeding in ocean forest equivalent as I read closer. Way too soon for anything but water.

You’ve never asked for a second opinion? Also it’s largely recommend by the forum itself one uses a ticket. Please read “read this before posting” @HippieRunner

I ment he has it coverd from what I would of said. No reason for ‘me’ to chime in as I was tagged above. Thats all
Happy growing…

My bad. Because of my most recent faux pas I’m not myself I guess. Apprehensive. Which I do owe you @PurpNGold74 and @Myfriendis410 an apology for. Well the whole ILGM staff. But you two specifically. And I do apologize.

Thank you. I was hoping you’d respond… The led light is Freelicht fl1000, soil is Brut worm super soil both from amazon. I have a month old banana kush auto under same conditions doing well after water ph adjustment (7.5 to 6.9)

That soil is a nutrient rich super soil you do not need to add any nutes for a while probably similar to Fox farms soils

Good point… I added the plant food to help lower the ph of the water

You can tell buy the dark green waxy leaves on your banana kush to much N the plant is small probably stunted for nitrogen toxicity IMO back off the nutes and watch them go

The ppfd chart. I see 18,12, and 8 inch intervals. How far do you run yours?

Also it stated it only draws 100w. So Id prefer to use that for one, two plants tops. And may want to improve for THICC buds but im sure she’ll get u to harvest just fine all the same. The big question i have is light height.

And as stated, try not to feed for a while. She has plenty to snack on

Thanks again. The blue dream 1 week old is at least 6" from the light. The month old kush is about 3" away bit growing quickly so I have to raise the light every other day.
