Does any one know what the brown spots are?
Is it nute or light burn? or is it a deficiency?
They are just on a few of the big fan leaves.
She seems very healthy otherwise.
Using happy frog dirt with added perlite.using a little maxibloom on it.
Using some 6500k t5 leds plus a Roleadro 600w led.
I raised the 600w and started only using water.
the burnt leaves are about half way up the 20" tall girl.
help-thanks
I don’t know what your problem is but I know these guys are going to want ppm reading from your runoff. So we can get that out of the way.
You have one of these ? The one on the right TDS meter
Do not have the TDS meter only a PH. I have read many post on brown leaves and you are right i will have to get a TDS. do the brown leaves look serious?
should i just trim them off?
I’m not the guy man…one day. I just was seeing if I could get that info out so someone who can help you could do it faster. Don’t want to give you bad advice…maybe use that little search magnifying glass and look up cal mag deficiency and compare your pictures.
Could be a Cal-Mag deficiency. Are you giving them any Cal-Mag?
It does look a little calcium deficient. Could be pH related. But why, is the question.
Can you fill out a support ticket?

Been watering with distilled and since it started pistols on day 15 I have only used maxibloom.
Distilled water is stripped of minerals. Plants will eventually begin to show calcium and or magnesium deficiencies when using it. Add some cal mag to your watering schedule. Those spots are most likely from a calcium deficiency.
It could also be pH related, since pH 6.0 is fairly low for soil, but the rest of the plant seems ok. So I’d start out by adding cal mag and then see if the spots cease.
Thank you for the diagnosis!!
up the ph (6.5?) add cal-mag.
I’m on it!!!
Is it ok to remove the 6 or 7 bad leaves?.. they are blocking bud sites.
thank you again @Drinkslinger
You can just fold the leaves back. They have more to give. When they’re fully yellowed pluck them off.
But if you must remove it won’t hurt anything.
As for the pH. The plant seems ok. Don’t mess with it yet. Probably all that perlite. Just add cal mag

Cal Mag arrives tomorrow.
So far no other leaves show the distress.
Can I add it to my maxibloom feed or keep the Cal Mag separate?
Just so you know, cal mag is not a deficiency, its a product. A magnesium deficiency or a calcium deficiency is more accurate. The product is a convenient way to help those growing with RO water or in a medium such as coco or liquid Hydroponics to supplement the missing elements. But a calcium deficiency or magnesium deficiency requires that the stress, ie extreme heat or improper ph be resolved before the plant can benefit from the treatment, be that magnesium sulfate or a calcium product or powdered eggshells.
In fact, my plants just got smaked with a heat wave in the greenhouse. That threw the metabolism of one of my plants out and now its showing a magnesium deficiency. Its not that there isnt any there, its that the plant cant metabolize it because it was 110 American in there.
Hmmmm, so it does appear to be calcium /magnesium deficiency. The question is why?
After, looking/asking and piecing comments together. I think the following things may have caused it. Grow box got up to 89f the other day for some unknown reason. Max is usually 81. Also my light may have been to close. and my humidity dropped to around 17% one day. usually 22 is my low. And I am using homemade distilled water. I have been using a ph of around 5.85-6.0 when watering and feeding.
I have raised light. i will keep temps and humidity correct.raise my ph to 6.5 on feed and water. and give it some cal mag. and start using dechlorinated tap water.
