If you were to treat it like a clone, get it in water so it’s not sucking up air, it might make it. What’s the rest look like?

Yes. Cut the leaves off that bottom node and stick her in dirt. She’ll probably do just fine.

Almost looks like you meant to top it, should be fine. Not an auto, is it?

Definitely didn’t mean to , but hey lil late now.
Thanks :sunglasses:

I wouldn’t even look at her funny for a while then! Sometimes stress can cause an auto to induce the flowering cycle early. Some top their autos, but the timing is critical. If she decides to start flowering, you might be left with a pretty small yield. You might put another on deck to take her place in case that happens, if it’s a big detriment to your grow. I’ve never personally grown autos myself and I’m drawing a blank on who to tag for more info on care/training specific to autos.

This is my first grow ever, i do have a couple more in the tent so even if she stunts on me i wont be totally burnt. My future LST is going to be very minimal.

You’re fine, just getting a feel for it. Can’t make an omelet without breaking some eggs!

Hey thanks again.

@Not2SureYet. This guy grows and does anything and everything you can do to autos. He’ll let you know something

I am to late but agree with those above. You could trim it down and tor treating it as a clone. Nothing to loose there. It would just continue growing the one branch there. Or toss it and keep on with the rest of her.

@jdv mist the leaves constantly on your broken top or she will die on you. The top has no roots so can only take moisture in through her leaves. You will need to mist for 2-3 weeks and you will eventually see new growth :sunglasses:

@Davyg, I am just asking to learn. Why would you consider it more likely to die than if she had just been topped to mainline? I would recommend adding a dab of honey to the top. It is late. But can still help. It seems to help things heal faster for me.

The main plant will be fine. A little honey will do no harm but the bit that has snapped off will just wither away as it has no roots so a wee mist will help the poor wee thing take on moisture until the new roots form

Got it. :+1: I thought you were talking about the main plant  Should he be cutting the tips off the same as if her were doing a clone?

100% cut the leaf tips. I had a feeling you were thinking of the main plant. When I top I treat the top like a clone. Trouble was my tent was getting massively overcrowded and my yields were going through the floor so I’m trying to reset things back to a manageable level
