If you have Teflon tape or electrical tape, you may be able to reattach it. Put a part of a wooden skewers or bamboo stick to act as a splint and hold it in place. @Underthestairs might be able to help. You could probably train it a good bit to get more bud sites on those side branches.
Would I be able to replant it ??
If you mean replant the offed top, I think the answer is no
If you mean replant the plant(in a larger container) then yes though with autos, itâs not recommended especially after an accidental topping
Will your plant be ok, very probably⊠topping whether on purpose or accidentally is generally not recommended with autos, as the time it takes them to recover, is time it could be building more structure, but whatâs done is done and, she will almost definitely survive so donât worry about that
@Mr_Wormwood pretty much got ya there. Totally missed the auto part. Ya, you may just have to let her ride. The top wouldnât root fast enough before flowering, if it could be planted. Iâd keep her in the pot and throw a dab of honey or plain, unscented aloe with no moisturizer on the break to help prevent rot.
I wouldnât worry about that, you did an accidental topping and will be glad you did. Canât really tell but looks to be above the 3rd node possibly 2nd. 3rd is ideal. LST moving forward will get you around 20-30% more buds at harvest time
You can try, but essentially your trying to clone, and I could be wrong, but Iâm not sure that works too well with autos
I think it comes down to the time involved with re rooting will be competing with the internal âticking clockâ thatâs written into its genetic code
Itâs not that it âwonâtâ work, so much as there isnât enough time for your âcloneâ to thrive before it busts into flowerâŠand thatâs if it roots
There is no harm in trying it, but the care and nurturing you give it could be spent on a more viable plant
I hope this helps, and as always, wait for a consensus of opinions before trashing it
Agree with @Mr_Wormwood, cloning this auto wonât work. Autos usually spend about 10-12 days as seedlings, 2-3 weeks vegging then flower starts around week 4ish. No time to root and veg, it could work but would be trying to flower and build roots and the same time. If it were to take, youâre have a bud on a 2â stem and some leafs
However nothing is really lost trying to clone / root it.
You just may get a couple grams out of it. Its experience either way.
Thats me, why not try it to get some experience to whatâs going on.
Yeah thatâs my view too, if you have the time and patience for a plant that wonât output much, if anything, it would be good experience for future⊠both for trying to get plant parts to root, but also dealing with potentially problem plants
If you can get it to root and keep it alive, youâll be even better at taking care of less challenging plants
I just didnât want you too expect much from it
Thanks guys I appreciate all of the advice !!!
There is absolutely no harm in trying to root that top. Your girl will probably be just fine as she looks so young. Just keep very gently spreading those growth tips apart and let her run
Probably wonât take root but the main plant is/will be fine.
Look if it has snapped completely dont worry about it the plant will throw out new growth from where it snapped off however it may stun the growth abit or it may not it may grow good its one of these things when lst training u have be so careful
Yeah I did the same thing to my first one I was soooo scared lol but actually is turning out nice !! ! So hopefully the other one will as well
@CoyoteCody make them but a lil better than the 1 u posted
Aha ok what does his ones look like
