Brainstorming ideas for drying and curing

Heyy yall! Hope everyone is well. I am starting to get my drying and curing plans together for when the time does come. I am thinking of using a spare bathroom for the drying process. Do yall think I could turn this shower into a drying space? Shower looks pretty much exactly like the one in this pic. I have 3 autos. On the smaller side… 1st grow!

And if i need to lower the humidity, which I probably will have to, Im looking into this product.

What do yall think or recommend?

Also, Ive been reading a lot about the curing process and have watched maybe 2 or 3 videos. Do yall have any tips on curing as well? If its not much can you break it down for me or maybe recommend a good video or something? Still dont think I am 100% confident in doing it with what Ive learned so far. Id like a little more info if possible.

Thanks again for yalls time. I appreciate yall so much!

That is what I do with what I cant fit in the Cannatrol. Have been doing it for a few years. Small space that is easy to control the environment.

That looks like a pretty low-capacity dehumidifier - the tank is tiny. I bought the Midea Cube 20 Pint Dehumidifier ($190 on Amazon) and I’m very happy with it. They also make larger models, but this is good for a small room. You can also control and monitor it from your phone, which is convenient.

I recommend this video on drying and curing:'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6Pe1P_49jE&list=PLL95f-7p1tx00to--RnNNbIFvSbebvOBW&index=10

I have one (low capacity dehumidifier)

I use it inside this tote, when burping jars.
probably a waste of electricity.

My 50pint dehumidifier will do any room.

Thank you all so much! I do plan on washing too. A little nervous but I think ots worth it. I really appreciate yalls ideas. Thank yall for everything!!

I’ve done my grows and drying in an unused bathroom. Had it all in the tub, with old refrigerator racks under the fabric pots. Kept the fart fan running which keeps the smell down. It was a perfect spot.

If you’re growing in a tent you can also use it for drying. Leave the exhaust fan running pulling a little fresh air through the tent. Good luck

All the above. If youre washing your bud…

This is my mix…

1st 5 gal bucket:

Lukewarm water
2 cups baking soda
2 cups lemon juice

2nd 5 gal bucket
Lukewarm warer
2 cups hydrogen peroxide

3rd 5 gal bucket

Rinse bucket
Just plain water.

Be careful and dont hit the sides or the bottom of the bucket, youll crush trichomes.

Gently dunk your bud 2 or 3 times and shake dry before the next bucket. After your rinse, hang em and allow to drip dry for 6 to 12 hours then rack.

Awesome!! Thank you so much!

I was kinda wanting to go ahead and start a new grow while these were drying. And where I have my tent its a lil tougher getting the humidity where it needs to be.

A good slow drying period usually takes about ten days . If you could free your tent up for that amount of time.
Good luck !

:heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes:Beautiful!

Nice shower curtains, btw! Do you have the mat that matches? I want the mat because it looks normal and white until you step on it with wet feet and it looks like bloody feet. Its so cool.

I don’t have the matt…but I have seen it. I am buying the next time I run across it now that you mention it.
