Would it help if I used a 2x2 tent vs the 5x5 to dry in

Doesn’t matter about tent, but keep a fan circulating the air but not blowing on the plants. 60/60 is a good dial in. Go to lowes and get your self a moisture meter. I use mine to check stems and buds.

Agree with John7, any size tent can be dialed to your liking just may take a bit fiddling around. :beers: And moisture Meter does help!

Imo trim and put in a paper bag for a bit and see if the bud will sweat a lil and pull some moisture out of the centers and keep a touchy feely on them and see if it makes a difference, and if you have any plants still growing and you feel it is still to dry add some fresh clipped leaves in the bag.

Once I cut my plant I make huge branches with buds on them and wash them in a 5 gallon water hydroperoxide solution. IMO worth the cleaning and my sealed tent room is clean.
Next I let them hang on my clothes rack with filter fans circulating air in the room. Cardboard in the bottom floor to collect all the moisture.
24 to 48 hours later I put it in a Wedryer for a few days to my liking.
I have these three gallon Auto burping buckets that I made. So I’ll keep him in there with a humidity pack.
Also I found Grove bags being pretty awesome for the finishing off main stash bag instead of buckets.

The goal starts at 60/60.
I can’t do bush hanging, PNW too damp.
I do selective bud harvesting.
Too difficult to hang wet bushes or fan leaf covered.
I always want to do wet trim before hang.

Tent space, always a premium, but
“YOU GOTTA DO, AS YOU GOTTO DO”

No room in the 2x2

AGREED, this will clean, and hopefully shake/wash particles or pathogens, out.
Hopefully, less chance of mold, rot, or dead bugs.
OUTDOOR WEED really needs the washing, else practicing unsafe.

Shoot for a slow drying period 8 to 10 days.
Temperature 65 to 68 would be good humidity 40 to 50 As mentioned I like to Break the plant down and hang the larger lambs. Remove the large fan leafs One small circulating fan.
But not blowing on the product . Do a final trim after dryed. If the bags are not working for you might consider jars . Good luck :v:

I placed mine in a cure bag recently, must not have closed it properly it became to dry. I placed a orange peel in the bag and the next morning it was rejuvenated and I removed the peel and sealed the bag. It worked very well.

Thanks everyone hopefully it will still turn out to be decent

Insurance or Back-up, well worth the price.

Kief collection in jar, inside right jar, being RH monitored.
T-Press next step.

Please elaborate on these?
I’m interested.

I like jars for home and bags for sharing

Yeah , i’ve always liked the jars for curing and also for storing. I keep a couple of jars of buds in the freezer most all the time.

I do have some of these for my bags I’ve put the bud in the grove bags since I’ve made this post and there sitting at 56 this is where I had problems last time seems like no Matter how long I leave it in the grove bags it still smells and taste like hay but prior to harvest these buds smelt amazing almost like juicy fruit I also taste tested a bud right after it was dry and holy cow was it good amazing taste…. Fast forward a week buds have been it grove bags and I taste test another bud and now it taste like grass and hay I 100% no forsure the buds were dry actually they were over dried I don’t understand if I can’t get this grow to turn out I might just give up on it I’ve had 4 grows like this now and I don’t Wana waste time and money to grow something that doesn’t turn out

All I did was get 3 gallon buckets with the sealed screw top. Then I hot glued perforated hose made a hole at the bottom side put them to a fish pump on a auto timer.
So what you really need is buckets hose and one way valves. All kind of sold by fishing supplies cheap cheap. I would suggest Google do it yourself auto purpose marijuana and do what you think is best for you.
Also I do leave a lot of my weed on the stems I cut the majority off but I don’t mind stems if I know the weed is going to be sitting there for 6 months.
So what I’m saying is when I do fill up my daily jaw for the week I’ll trim a bunch of buds that have been in buckets or Grove bags curing. I actually worked at a big marijuana grow facility for a little bit and what I found everybody has a little different way of drying technique. I still believe in washing weed. Hope this helps good luck everybody everybody here is awesome too shout out

Thanks. I got 2 five gallon buckets and filled a hole in the side at the bottom. I used clear air hose and pointed a ton of holes in them and ran them inside the bucket. I don’t have puffs but i did have two bowls that fit perfectly.
I have the air pump set on a timer to run 15 minutes every hour.

I threw it together and had to leave town for 3 days so… i put 1/2 pound in each bucket and we will see how it’s doing when i get home. Thanks for the info.

I don’t know if this YouTube link will be blocked I’ll find out
But this video shows pretty much how this works, he says too much pressure it’s because I have double valves going out because the fish pump I’m using pushes out more air than one valve will push out.
A spiral the hose on the bottom of the bucket perforated it beforehand, I’m really thinking about updating to 5 gallon buckets. Very easy to do Google auto burping buckets diy and do some search good luck
