Anyone here know how well the ILGM Do-si-dos responds to LST vs topping/fimming? If this thing keeps at pace I’m in for a potential problem haha!

They’re beasts! I only grew them on 12/12 from seed without topping or training and they tried to outgrow my tent. Super grower for sure

12/29/23-- TRAINING 
LETS PREPARE
Tied down the Do-Si-Dos and topped the Blue Dream.
Took the bottom most sucker branches from the Do-Si-Dos in attempt to clone in the clear bottle.
Those Gorrila Glue clones I took and thought I’d veg didn’t take/didn’t revert… they soaked up too much 12/12… so they’ll be removed. I’d like to add that I’m now mixing in likely too much… but it’s some microbe stuff called Mammoth P. We shall see.
Excited to watch this Do-Si-Dos! And we all know these Blue Dreams are sleepers! They’re a tad slow in the beginnings but once we go 12/12 that thing will explode with huge growth! Let’s prepare!

12/30/23-- THINGS ARE GETTING SERIOUS
Though things are really about to become not so serious, rather pretty laid back and relaxed.
Autopot trays and valves have been scrubbed down and cleaned. Tent got a quick cleaning and I’ve got the Autopot system at the ready. Transplanted the Blue Dream and man oh man it’s about to explode. I guarantee it as soon as we go 12/12. I’ll give them a couple weeks and then we’ll do it! I mean just look at them Blue Dream roots! They’re basically alien… woooooo!!

1/5/23-- THE BIG DEBATE
Another week of veg or flip to 12/12? That’s the big question. That’s just the problem though… Blue Dream there on the left could likely use another week or 2, but the Do-Si-Dos has been pre-flowering for a couple weeks and is getting big and I haven’t even switched… hmm… the big debate…

1/7/23–THE FLIP 12/12
The seedlings are starting to take hold… been pretty cool in my opinion to be germinating and on top of that now going 12/12 tho they’ll survive. The chemdawg is showing that weird growth since it popped. This is the 3rd or 4th chemdawg seed we’ve germinated and every one of them has grown real weird with like that third leaf. I’ll snap a picture for us later. Is what it is. Looking for that funk that chemdawg is known for! Helps me a bunch!
The Do-Si-Dos has grown fast! Almost like it’s got a touch of auto flower in there, but what do I know… it’s just wild how fast it’s grown in such a short amount of time all the while throwing pistils and forming bud sites.
The Blue Dream I’m fairly familiar with, but it always impresses. Here we go!
Good call @Covertgrower been debating on another week or not but this is the right decision

1/19/23-- WEEK 2 THERE’S A MONSTER IN MY TENT
Hard to believe just 30 days ago I transplanted from solo cup! Let’s keep the momentum
Turned up the quantum boards and raised them up couple inches. The Do-Si-Dos is like 10" from the lights. Super grower! Haven’t defoliated at all on any of the plants… so that’s that. The Blue Dream might get it though. It’s thick and I’d assume it’d appreciate the defoliation.
Cruise control… 70° f and 5.8ph with the Jacks 321 and Mammoth P, likely too much.

1/27/24-- WEEK 3 BIG STRETCH
Good times alright well… Status update.
Initially I turned them up 
with the dimmers and turned on the UVB last 4 hours of the 12hrs, BUT the Blue Dream’s leafs began to taco a little SO… today we’ve raised them again nearly to the max and dimmed the HLG’s down 
to the minimum. Raised the UVB as well.
Besides that… we’re remaining constant and preparing for harvest.
Do-Si-Dos is already getting a shine to it’s look! Dang I’m getting excited!

2/4/24-- WEEK 4 BIG BLUE DREAM STRETCH.
It’s always impressed me to watch these plants grow. ILGM
I’m going to TRY and squeeze a couple more inches I’ve got above the lights before the Blue Dream grows through it. Hopefully I can get it raised up a little. Looks as if the Do-Si-Dos was done stretching last week but hasn’t wasted any time by bulking up the bud sites.
