Bogleg's "Whatever I have going on" Thread

Forgive my ignorance, is this Ebb & Flow or DWC or ?

I’m already getting the popcorn ready!

This ought to be cool. I was taken by the layout in the tent.

It’s ebb and flow. Under what you see in the pic there is as 40 gallon tote with a water pump in it. There is also a drain hose with an overflow valve connected to the tray that drains back into the tote.

Man this gif comes in handy with all you growers…

One of the DTB seeds has a tail!

Two of the three Brian Berry Citrus seeds have nice, long tails. I will put those two in Rapid Rooters tonight when the lights turn back on in my tent.

First clone to root is one of the Duckweb male clones. A good percentage of the rest of them look ready to pop soon. Hopefully by the weekend they all have roots, and then a week from then we’ll be in flower with 15 or so clones. Assuming I ascertained gender properly and they all root, etc. etc.

I dropped both DTB seeds in rooters. The two Brian Berry Citrus seeds have emerged from their rooters.

And of course I have the solo Alien Snow Cone F2 about ready to go into a cloner:

Second clones to pop roots are the Kwazulu males. Do males root more quickly? Hmm.

By the looks of it, the 12 Rosetta Stone clones will all end up being the last ones to root.

As it stands today, all of the (allegedly) male Duckwebs are rooted. All but one of the (allegedly) female Duckwebs are also rooted (the other one should pop roots today).

One (1) Cherry Bomb has roots.

One (allegedly) male Kwazulu has roots, the other five are on the verge.

ZERO of the 12 Rosetta Stone clones are showing roots. They also don’t look like they are going to show roots any time soon.

Grr.

So it turns out both DTB seeds germinated (the super laggard germinated inside the Rooter) and both are working their way into the world.

Both of the Brian Berry Citrus seeds are born and putting out their first set of true leaves.

The ASC F2 seedling has three nodes out and should go into a cloner tonight or tomorrow.

On the clone front, I have the following rooted so far:

Male Duckweb - 6 of 6
Female Duckweb - 6 of 6
Female Cherry Bomb - 2 of 6
Male African Kwazulu - 2 of 6
Female Rosetta Stone - 4 of 12

I would say one more week should see the rest of them root, and if all goes as planned, then next weekend should hopefully see 24 clones in the flower tent.

Good news, I think I still have one or two of those dtb. Hopefully all goes as planned haha!

Clone status:

Duckwebs all rooted.
Cherry Bomb - 4 of 6 rooted
Rosetta Stone - 8 of 12 rooted

At least two of the males are rooted so we’re good to go on that front.

As it stands I think this week will be enough time for the rooted clones to start growing again. I might end up with 3 or 4 that are iffy for the tray, but we’ll give it a shot anyway. This particular flower run will be all about educating myself on when to put clones into the tray, how to train them during transition, etc.

I am not looking for a perfect grow - I’m looking to take some more steps towards the perfect grow.

I have been having some issues with my COB rails in the flower tent - two of my drivers and one of potentiometers aren’t working properly. As a result I started light shopping (I was supposed to just be grabbing replacement drivers and a replacement pot, but you know how it goes).

As a result, in a week or so I will be putting a ChilLED Growcraft X6 (600W) in the flower tent, and taking the COBs out to re-purpose with my 3500K PCBs into a single fixture for my veg tent. I will also likely use some of those COBs to bolster the HLG-100 I use in my breeding tent.

Clone count - and this looks like a final number from this batch:

Duckweb (male) - all six rooted. I’ll select the healthiest looking one and keep growing it.
Kwazulu (male) - same as above.
Duckweb (female) - all six rooted and are ready to go in the tray
Cherry Bomb - 4 rooted - two look like they are no bueno. They will need a few more days before they are ready for the tray.
Rosetta Stone - 9 rooted. I think two of the remaining three might still root, but one has a broken stem and I think it’s dead.

That leaves me with 19 clones for the tray. Five short of full. Assuming I’ve gendered these all correctly. Heh.

On the seedling front, the ASC F2 will be going into the bubble cloner tomorrow with the male clones I select. I have two healthy looking Brian Berry Citrus seedlings on tap, and a pair of Double Tangie Banana seedlings a few days behind them.

Bubble cloner set up with Jacks 3-2-1+MKP (730ppm, starting PPM of 100), PH 5.76. I put a Kwazulu and Duckweb in it (both males) and the ASC F2 seedling.

Looking at the clones, I think I mistakenly counted a Rosetta Stone clone that isn’t actually rooted - so I’m likely going to go with 18 clones in the tray to start out.

New light gets delivered on Tuesday next week, so my plan is to wait until it shows up, get it up in the flower tent, and then put the clones in the tray.

Can’t wait to see the new light and flower tent in action. Seems like it’s been too long.

It’s been since November. I needed a little reboot anyway. But I am getting to the point where I am low on product - enough that I can’t just be wasteful like I usually am.

Can’t have that!
