Hey there everyone! I’ve been absent for quite some time on here but I’m coming back with a new indoor grow. This will be a journal and general grow discussion. I’ve been growing my own medicine since the spring of 2020. I hope I can help some while receiving help as well if needed. All are welcome to follow along for this ride. Share love, peace and knowledge. Be safe and be well all.
Welcome back to the game!
So, let’s kick this new grow off! I will hopefully have 2 photoperiod cultivars from 2 different breeders as long as everything germinates. I’ve started with 2 shot glasses that have 15ml of dechlorinated tap water and 3ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide in them. Dropped 2 Grape Diamonds R2 beans (Ethos Genetics) into 1 glass then dropped 2 Biscotti Mintz (Barney’s Farm) into the other glass. Once I have tails growing I’ll begin to place them into 3” plastic seedling cups with coco coir that’s been buffered and fed with full strength Jacks 321. Hoping for an end result of 4 plants in 3 gallon pots that with any luck yield me close to 1lb.
Here’s the list of grow space and equipment:
1 3’x4’ AC Infinity tent
1 Mars Hydro TS1000 150watt LED
1 HLG 260QB kit with R-Spec boards 260watts
1 AC Infinity 6” exhaust with controller 69
1 AC Infinity oscillating clip fan
2 no name 6” clip fans
1 AC Infinity humidifier
1 passive 4” intake hose with filter
Jacks 321 nutes
Plastic pots, risers and saucers
Lastly the only additional excitement that I hope to add is attempting to build my own automated water/feed system into the tent this grow cycle.
Thanks and welcome to my new journal! Hope you stick around for the sh!tshow!!!
I’ll tag along…good luck
Checked on my 4 seeds again today (I check daily) and all 4 have sprouted tails so they just got placed into their little pots of coco pre loaded with Jacks at 4g/gal of part A and 2g/gal of part B pH’d to 5.8 then added a touch of Real Growers Recharge. As I loaded the pots I also sprinkled a small amount of mycorrhizae to promote root development.
All 4 are now sitting in the tent with a saucer and heat mat under them. Next update should be in a few days once all hopefully break the top of the coco.
Unfortunately for me my tent sits on a cold concrete floor so seedlings always go on a heat mat here.
Welcome back! Tagging along for the ride as well. Excited to see how those grape diamonds come out
I’ve grown out 2 of the grape Diamonds seeds before. Both grew very similar to each other in stature, node structure and bud structure. The colors really showed a deeper purple coming in at the end and smelled like artificial grape and fuel. The other stayed a beautiful darker shade of green and smelled like dank basement. Both knocked my socks off with my lower tolerance but they had a similar balanced euphoric high that lasted for hours. I’ll be sure to take pictures since I’m posting this grow.
Appreciate it. Ive got a little ethos collection building and im finally starting to get them worked into the mix. The smell that gets left on your hands after touching a bud is
Took a gander in the tent just as I got home from work. I’m pleased to announce that there are 3 seedlings sprouted above the coco and 1 is very close behind. Both of the Biscotti Mintz are awake while only 1 of 2 Grape Diamonds is up. The 1 GD is showing at ground level but is still inside its seed husk.
Grape Diamonds are on the left and Biscotti Mintz are on the right.
You got yourself a grow going!
Well I took the liberty to visit my local hydro shop that a friend of mine owns. A few months back I had bought the AC Infinity Cloudforge humidifier and I never installed it because I didn’t have an indoor grow at the time. Last night I attempted to hook it up only to find that it’s not compatible with my controller 67… so off to the store I went to buy a 69pro. Why not have the ability to monitor my tent while at work right? So I left the store with the controller, extra port wiring aannnnd a new grow light. I upgraded my lights from a total of 410 watts from 2 lights to the HLG 600 R-Spec. Holy cow is that thing powerful!!! Now I’m sitting here attempting to set up the automation in the controller 69 pro. If anyone has experience with these, pls chime in.
Oh and all 4 seedlings are now through the coco and happily growing roots.
Checked on the ladies today. They’re looking quite happy currently. I’m working on learning how to use the AC Infinity controller 69pro and the automations.
It seems as tho the 2 Grape Diamonds girls are content with the amount of light while both of the Biscotti Mintz want more. I lowered the HLG 600rspec 3 inches bringing the girls into the 200ppf range. Gave them 3oz of full strength Jacks 321 with their first light dose of recharge in hopes the microbes from the recharge will work well with the myco inoculated coco. Once roots are well established I’m confident the grape diamonds girls will catch right up to the others.

Just a little tent update. My temps have been pretty low in the tent but the girls don’t seem to mind other than a little slower growth than I’m used to. 13 days above ground and we’re starting to see 2nd node development.
There’s also some temporary new additions to the tent for my wife. 5 orange rose cuttings, 2 bok choy and a romaine lettuce head are all rooting along side the 4 girls.
I am also about to start a large cloning project for a friend of mine that owns the local hydro shop so in the next few weeks I’ll be pushing up to 50 clones roughly every 2 weeks back to him. He is supplying me with his mother plants, root riot cubes, trays and rooting hormones as well as adding me to his payroll for this project. Should be an interesting one to say the least.
He has also asked if I would like to offer clones of what I’m growing for myself to the project and I will be able to set my own price on those after he finishes the paperwork involved to make me part of his legal growing team.
Hey all! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I went upstate with my father in law to do some maintenance on our cabin.
Came home and transplanted the girls as they were ready. I was able to turn my light up a little bit before I left to increase temps and they absolutely loved it. They’re currently in 1 gallon plastic pots and will veg in them for at least the next 4 weeks. Once they all show sexual maturity I’ll make the decision on when to transplant again to 3 gallon pots and flip to flower. I still have to put the divider wall up in the tent to shrink my flower side down to 3x3 leaving a 1x4 space for clones on a shelf and the mother plants below. Man I love these AC Infinity tents.
On another note, I spoke to my buddy with the hydro shop and he doesn’t really have dedicated mothers already started for cloning. His plan is to just offer clones of some old school skunk#1 right now and he just dropped seeds for the mothers. Not what I had planned on but it’s his project and I’m just helping him so I’ll roll with it. I’ll be taking cuts of both Grape Diamonds and both Biscotti Mintz for myself just incase I get something special out of them.
Here are the girls after transplant. Grapes are on the left.
Tent update:
Just got home from work and decided to top all 4 plants at the 5th node and give each a little defoliation. I removed the 2 lowest sets of fan leaves for airflow and better access to feed the girls. Like a dummy I always forget to take before pictures so anyone that follows will have to deal with after pics only . Branch development is coming along nicely and I would have to assume that root development is as well since 2 days after transplant I started to see roots in the drainage holes now those holes are just roots. Last night I turned the dial up 1 more notch on the 600Rspec and raised it a few inches. Current DLI average for the tent is 38 (I’ll have to watch node spacing to see if that’s too much light). Temps and humidity seem to be holding steady at 77f lights on and 68f lights out. RH is steady bouncing between 70-76%. without further delay here’s some pics!

And I just secured a Sour D AJ cut for the cloning project! I’m not sure I’ve ever been this excited about a plant. As well as I got a mail call yesterday containing Square 1 and Inhouse seeds that I’ve wanted to try for a long time. Now I’m contemplating making a few crosses with the sour d.
@TMC.PRE this is my current grow. Thanks for asking to check it out.
Cant have too many seeds! Looks good in there what do you do with the roses?
