Okay guys heres my new journal i currently have face fat auto from atlas seeds in flower week 4. Shes very hungry might need to feed her more!! She has been pushing tichomes like crazy! My lights off temphas been 69 so i think thats been helping
And i have a banana purple punch RF3 auto from fast buds that just started preflower i cant wait to see how she produces shes short but i know she will be stout!
And heres my little ones 3 of them are going to stay in solo cups and 1 is going into a 5 gallon pot i have:
â—Źtop gun auto by atlas seeds staying in solo cup
â—Ź2 blue dream autos by ilgm staying in solo cups
â—Źstrawberry gorilla by fast buds getting moved into larger pot in a week or 2
Has anyone used advanced nutrients ph perfect sensi part a and b? Ive tried their 3 part nutrient line which in my opinion is amazing i was just wondering if sensi is just as good or not? Im on a experiment on different nutrient trials on different plants haha
Understandable ive wondered when i used the ph perfect 3 part what do i do if i run into a deficiency (luckily i havent when running it) when it says to absolutely not try to ph the nutrients. I like being able to control my ph and what i put in
I plan on getting a new camera or something because pics just doesn’t do her justice but watered her today and her stems isnt strong to keep bud weight up. I should start using silica to help with that and to support resistance against deficiency
I have used Silica my last few grows. It does stiffen up the branches, but the big bud branches may still need help staying upright. I start it right around flip, so I can manipulate them in veg easier. Some run it the whole way through. I pre mix my silica in my water a few hours or a day before adding nutes. Nice looking plant
Okay good to know i honestly wasnt expecting this plant to get so tall considering it said it was an indica and being an autoflower but she started spacing her nodes out with being able to get light in from every part of her. I havent done a single bit of defoilating besides popping a leaf off here and there. And her root system has just taken over the entire pot. More roots than soil i must say haha. But shes very skunk/gassy smelling i love the gmo strain definitely taking the characteristics of that side. I probably have about 4 to 6 more weeks so i can only imagine keeping her up right is going to be a pain when it gets there. Right now i have here tied in so it can get light upright instead of leaning towards the ground
So i was just curious and was referred to youmy good friend @DanB about advanced nutrients ph perfect ive used them and their nutrient calculator confuses me for mixing for my soil grows. So my question to you is what is your feeding for late veg to bloom? I usually only mix 4 liters of nutes. Do you feed full strength or half? What they given me seems like alot! And imnot sure if theyre giving me measurements per liter or gallon
Hello my friend, I’ve found a happy middle ground, because your feeds truly depends on what type of seed. Photo they recommend full strength, autos half strength.
But In my grow I don’t exceed 15ML of grow, micro, bloom, 8ML bud candy, 8ML Big Bud per every 4 liters.
And for me starting from week 5-6 of flower not counting the 7-10 days for lite flip I use 8ML overdrive
And how much of the system are you using? Like big bud, bud candy ect.
Truly can not give you anymore information other then what I run.
And you can do that feed every time she needs watered or you can nutrients feed every other.
Truly hope this helps and sorry it took me so long to reply
Thats perfect! I use half strength and it seems to work on my autos i appreciate your feedback i was just seeing if im giving my plants their full potential and basing it off ec readings. I use the 3 part, big bud, bud candy but ran out so use foxfarms bembe (doesnt seem to bother it), and b52
Hey guys so i want opinions on lighting when your plant is ripening/maturing in the final weeks of flower. What do you guys set your dli or ppfd to during that time? I tend to lower to 35-36 dli and seem to get a good result most of the time but theres some that get a few foxtails still just wondering if thats still too much or if its just genetics
I only ever worry about temp and humidity, I put lights all the way up as far as I can and let the plant tell me if it’s enough or too much, if not enough the leaves and node sites are stretched and praying, if too much will show stress or burn, I also don’t go over 80% on my power for the lights.
I agree ive gone at the most 80 percent as well i usually keep them 45 dli until the last 2 weeks then i drop to 36 dli didnt want foxtailing because i seemed to have that problem on my first few grows and ever since i dropped it the last few weeks it hasnt happened since. Im looking to get a hlg light right now i have 2 tsw 2000 from mars hydro in my tent and theyre great! I just see people talk so good about hlg so im going to get one. I was planning on getting another tent so i can have a veg and flower tent so when i do ill add the hlg light to that one. Thanks again for your advice. Its good to get information from awesome growers! Do you grow any vegetables or herbs too by chance?
Holy crap! Thats a monster for sure! And yeah i seen that during Christmas alot of refurbs were sold out so i was going to buy one off of ebay but @dbrn32 mentioned to me to just build my own with quantum boards that they have for sale, get some slates, and a buddy of mine has the drivers for them luckily so im going to go that route. Those lights are expensive but ive heard that theyre so worth it. I bet that spider farmer light is a beast!
Yes sir, HLG offers build your own options also. And yes they are a bit expensive but everything I’ve heard about them and their customer service is unbeatable!!
This spider farmer light is great I’m very happy with it, I’ve got 2 of them cost me $200.00 for both, a forum member blew the drivers and was buying new lights offered them for free, cost me $20 in gas and $90 each for drivers. But only have enough space to run one for now .
