Hmm, wasn’t aware they were substituting driver, the handful that I’ve seen come from hlg had meanwell drivers. According to that, 100k ohm potentiometer will do it. Rapid led sells one in a case for something like $6.
@dbrn32 would this work? Amazon.com
Ya. As long as one of them is 100k or higher.
@dbrn32 I got it to 700 on the tallest plant and 250-350 on the youngest plants. Had to rig something up but it seems to work. Are those values good?
Ya that looks better. What do you have for resistors there? You should be able to just put one between dimming leads. Looks like purple and grey wires.
Yeah. I set up the breadboard so I could play around with different values easier. Right now it’s using the 2x15k.
Cool, that should work.
I checked the plants, the larger one is finally noticeably lighter. Not as light as it could be. Should I water it more or wait? If now, nutrients or not?
I’d wait til you feel like it’s ready and then give ph’d water. Collect some runoff and check ppm’s Use that info to determine how best to move forward.
Same condition pretty much.
@dbrn32 The leaves of all the plants are still curling up. Light levels seem fine, temp is currently 73F, humidity is 45%. Not sure what else to do…
Anyone else have any thoughts here?
I don’t see anything wrong. There is a little kink to some of the leaves but that’s genetics. Maybe the temp caused some leaf curl?
Environmentals weren’t great, but it seems most of that is ironed out.
@dbrn32 I just watered the large plant, 7.0pH in, 5.8pH out.
@Myfriendis410 The leaf tacoing issue is getting worse despite lowering the light level.
So it has started drinking significantly then?
Yes, it was very light today, maybe too light, but I gave it water. Is the 5.8pH runoff of concern?
A little. Based on what you had going on I’m not surprised though. If it doesn’t start coming up with ph 7 feed/waterings you could probably top dress with a little dolomite lime.

If so, how much should I add?
