hey guys i just got some GG4 seeds and some Gold Leaf seeds and i forgot to put the seeds in the cup of water and went straight to the paper towel. does anyone know if that should effect the way it germinates if it even germinates at all? thanks in advance buds

Paper towel should be fine provided it is moist enough, warm and dark. The water soak is mainly to soften the seed’s shell. Many will drop directly into soil too. If a seed is going to germinate, it will if the conditions are right.

Welcome to the community! If they have a crack at the seem, leave them for another day or two. That means they have begun to germinate and a root is beginning to develop. If they are still solid, you can place them in water. Good luck and happy growing!

@Dclark ive only ever planted one seed and i did the paper towel method and it worked but i didnt know if autos were different!

Welcome!! Everyone has their tried and true way. I put seed right in soil in forever pot. Works for me.
