Best Soil For Outdoor Growing

Growing autos for my third season. Have been using Happy Frog soil with good results the previous 2 years. Trying Bio365 this year. Anybody have any experience with this soil?

Use to grow a shit load in burnt brush piles !! In my younger days.

No experience with that , i swear by happy frog , im curious why you would change

I just googled bio365 soil , it must grow gold bars instead of buds based on the price , low end 60 dollars high end 159 dollars for one big bag of dirt , 1.5 cu ft. they are very proud of it

Salesman sold it where I pick up supplies. About 40 per bag. So far good results

Hey there! New to growing, and about to start some auto flowers outdoors in SoCal, wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a good soil to use?

I’ve used both happy frog and bio365. Had good results with both. This was first year with the bio, and plants definitely seemed heathier, although you have to stay on top of when growing outdoors. I think it has better nutes than the happy frog, no issues with mold forming in soil. A little more expensive, but
I feel the soil is the most important part so worth the investmemt. Happy growing!

Awesome! thank you for the suggestion! I was going to go with FF Ocean Forest and then supplement with FF nutes. Never heard of bio365, is it fine with just the soil? are you supplementing with nutes after about 5 weeks? And also are you growing in just the bio365 or are you throwing some perlite in there as well?

Just the bio365, and added this after 5 weeks

thanks so much man! definitely gonna give that a try for my first grow, keep you updated!

are you mixing in perlite with the bio365? and also a question I have that I feel pretty inexperienced in is the pH monitoring of the soil/water. If anyone has any tips or could give a beginner a little run-down that would be greatly appreciated!
