I need advice on something

I’ve been re-evaluating my method of providing nutrients to my autos since I have been struggling with liquid nutes. I was wondering about using my Happy Frog soil with Nature’s Living Soil - Autoflower. This would be my first time and I was wondering if anyone here has done this here. Do you guys have any advice that you can share? For example: What ph does the water has to be or how many times to ammend the soil during flower. Thank you in advance.

I use happy frog for my grow. My grils seem 2 love it. This is my FRIST bud grow just a fyi. I also have noticed many people here us HF soil as well, im sure one or 3 will be along to share some input as well. I have only added light nuts 4times durning her grow. Just for the extra help. Everytime i test the soil ph its between 6.2-6.5 (my tester is a bit old tho so it may be off) however my ww auto growing now has had no issues at all in the HF soil.
As far as water goes i just use filtered water.
Happy growing :call_me_hand:

My first advice is to not grow autoflowers :joy: happy frog is fine for a grow. I usually mix my happy frog with ocean forest. Tap water is fine to use, just let it aerate. Always pH your water to 6.5.

First time growers stress over tiny details (I know I was there) and now I barely care for my plants although I do care but also don’t so it’s a mixed emotions type of thing.

I’ve grown with Happy Frog before I have about 4 grows under my belt and Im looking for an alternative to liquid nutes. That’s why I asked about Nature’s Living Soil to make it easier and not have to worry about liquid nutes. I like growing autos and I will get into growing photos when I het more space to do it.

Oh nice! I was going to ask what else you added to it. I need to reasearch more on compost tea. I had someone else tell me that they also added Dr. Earth Bloom Girl because they got some deficiencies during flower.

You may want to look at grow dots very easy and simple I use them in promix also can be used in coco.

Gaia green works as well, or just make your own organic soil with down to earth

If you are wanting a dry nutrient alternative take a look at Roadside Organics - Highway Dust. It is similar to Earth Dust which is no longer available.

Check out Coast of Maine Stonington Blend and their dry nutes. Been using them for years with great results. Plus you do t have to worry about salt buildup and flushing unless you run into a lockout which i havent but 1 time and thats because i was experimenting with a liquid heavy metal remover.

Okay hello I use Happy Frog too I’ve used it this is my second grow with Happy Frog I don’t put anything with it I like it I think it’s pretty good soil I when I water i ph my water to 6.2 and I checked my ppms I have a tester pH and PPM tester that I use I I try to get my water about 1300 ppms and I’ll also check my runoff when I feed to see if it’s in line too let’s see here to water I’ll wait until the leaves start to droop a little bit that’s a sign to me that they’re ready for water so I don’t overwater over watering can be a big problem it can cause root rot and kill the plant anyway man I hope you have a good luck with your grow I wanted to tell you I’ve been making some really sweet Keith boxes and I’ve got them for sale on eBay but I’m broke I’m having some really tough financial problems right now I’ve got them for sale for $195 but anybody on on the Forum that wants one I’m going to give him a $20 break right now drop the price to 175 you’ll have to email me and let me know that you want one and I’ll put a $20 bill in your box when I ship it to you if this is something you want but anyway they’re made out of red cedar they’re really pretty you’ll have to check them out anyway thanks a lot you have a great day

Thanks everyone for your advice I’m grateful. I’ve decided to go with Dr. Earth dry amendments with WC. I might try to grow my first photoperiod as well. Thanks again everyone, you guys are more helpful than reddit thats for sure lol.
