Autos Adventurous Grows

What’s up growmie @madhatter1 !! These pics were from my last grow using the same exact light for this go around. In fact since I started I’ve used the same light. I even got away with doing two plants at a time but I will say buds will end up airy on one of the plants. So far I have had no issues. I was actually getting ready to upgrad to a 300w light from spider farmer.

Your plants are looking great !

I was gonna say within the next two weeks I was gonna start switching her over to getting fed 2x a day through the drip irrigation. I shall take this route and see where it takes us. I was thinking half strength because from foop they said to change it to half strength this way by the second feeding she would technically be getting normal dosage.

Grow Bro, how’s it going? Let me say the frost on those from that small light is awesome . I havent gone from seed to harvest yet but the OGkush I got goin I’ll let stay all the way. I couldn’t be happier with them so far. That SF300 Is a nice light for the price. Get it ,you know you want to. Lol
Hava a good rest of your weekend.

Going great, spent some time with the family today to celebrate for Easter tomorrow beings they live some ways away.

I honestly think the light did play a big part but I’ve gotten this frost from the nutrients I’m using I believe. Like I’ve used one other nutrient brand Gaia green and I hardly had any frost.

I use strictly foop now and since I’ve used them this is the first I been getting.

Tag me along in your journal I’d love to tag along for the grow!

I do, really do lol but I know if I ended up getting another light it would force me to get another tent because then I would have enough supplies to have two tents going. Because I already have another incline, carbon filter and flex lol. And at that point my 100w is still in great condition so yea I don’t really wanna pull the plug only because I don’t have the space right now lol

That’s great you have family to be with. Mine’s all gone, I’m the last man standing, not that I’m complaining. Sometimes you might want to be alone but it sucks after a while.

This is only the second grow I’ve used bottled nuts. Using advanced nutrients and when it’s gone maybe I’ll give that Foops a try. I never heard of it, so thanks for that. I rather go with the organics anyway. I got a gal of roots organic HPK a couple of weeks ago. Pretty high in P&K ,so I’m giving them that in flower. Hope it helps. That Orion F1 I just cut 2 days ago had some nice buds. Real small but better than nothing. Not near as frosty as yours but it’ll do. Are you using that FOOP Sweetener with their other products?

That SF300 will fill your size tent perfect, lol. And you got the other for backup. See, my problem is I have the room just not a lot of extra money. Always something. :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Well imma take a couple more hits and a cup of coffee and off to bed. Consider tagged @Auto-photo98

Peace out :love_you_gesture:

I know this seems logical, but it’s not really the way coco works. The idea is at each event to flush out the old leftover nutes and replace with fresh balanced ones to keep the environment in the root zone as consistent as possible. If you keep everything in the root zone very close to ideal then the plant doesn’t have to waste energy to adapt and can just focus on growth. When you feed it’s two separate things happening. The plant can take water and nutes independently of one another in stead of as a solution or mixture of both. The plant takes in what it needs at the time. If the plant takes up more water than nutes the EC/PPM rises since there is now less water to dilute the nutes and vice versa. Then the plant will take in individual nutrients as it needs and leave the rest of the nutes in the medium. Because of that we want to go out with the old and in with the new rather than trying to guess what the plant used since the last feeding. This way the you provide a buffet and allow the plant to decide what it’s hungry for.

So my feedings now would be around ppm - 1334

When I go to add in another feeding I should drop that to around to 1234 or 1100 ? And then she would ultimately get a ppm of about 1100 each watering a day. Beings I’m gonna be switching over to 2x a day pretty soon.

I may end up pulling the plug very soon but it most likely won’t be for a little bit lol.

I use the entire foop line veg 1 & 2. Bloom 1 & 2 and sweetener all throughout the grow. The only think I don’t use from them is their ph adjuster.

Well it is definitely working for you. There is absolutely no more room on your buds for any more trichomes.

Have a great day @Auto-photo98 Catch ya later :love_you_gesture:

This is what I have from foop that I was reading over a few days ago.

It’s really crazy what a week can do to plants lol, we’re starting to reach the point where I can top her and then start pushing down the shoots, about how much longer should I wait to go ahead and give her a topping.

At least 6 inches between 4th and 5th node.
Auto or photo?
If auto, I let them be

Photo, my autos I don’t do topping I just bend the main stalk over and then sometimes cut anything touching coco. I’m about at the 5th node now. Was thinking about giving her a topping today. Leave the 4 bigger shoots. Take off remaining growth underneath that won’t really amount to anything later on down the road.

Also planning on topping this 3-4 times and ending up with either 16 or 32 main colas :joy:

Alright growmies whatcha thinking, where should I give her a trim. Right where I have my finger or hold off a little bit.

I think you should leave her a bit longer but we’ll see what others say. She’s looking great now btw.

I feel like on my last grows this is exactly the time I topped her ass  and I remember seeing some people say they would have waited a little bit longer. So figured I’d ask before she got the snips :joy:. Thank you !!! I can say we all made this turn around possible by putting our thinking caps together

If your looking to mainline or manifold then yes, I’d top above the node your pointing to then strip off the nodes below so you only have the one node and 2 lateral branches. I think I saw you plan on doing a HST mainline type with many toppings. Otherwise I give her just a little longer then top around node 6 and strip node 1 and 2 to give lower clearance.

Yes you got it, you been with me for my two other grows and seen how I had them training. I was planning on doing the same thing with this one. So yea I would take off right around where I’m pointing at in the picture. Leave the two shoots under the top and then take off all of the growth underneath from the two main shoots I would have left.
