TThis one ive grown outdoors in a greenhouse. Is this one gonna be okay, ive fought with spider mites on this one for a minute noe. I guess im just really eorried about my girls
I dong know how.
I tagged an mod to do it. Go back to your other post
I have never grown in doors, only grown outdoors once. I am now trying a growtent growing my first auto flower, Northern lights cookie…I ordered a complete grow tent from Vivosun, now i need all the gelp i can get at this point. I have coco coirs as my soil with acid mix and worm castings and bone meal. Any advice from this would be greatly appreciated as i am very new but willing to learn.
Im hoping this is a great start. Not sure about what i am doing, but more than willing to learn from all you growmie experts. All advice and negative advice will be a new learning experience for me. Growmies lets please help me get my new hobbie up and going the right way. You all have all the ecpert advice in my opinion.
With that being said, who can i depend on, helping hands are greatly appreciated.
Congrats on the new journey Growmie.
you’ll need all the macro and micro nutrients and suggest Jacks 321. Simple easy and very cannabis friendly. That set up will work for 1 plant ![]()
For setup. Research about PPFD for light given and VPD for environment.
Remember to keep soil pH between 6,4/6,8(6,6 is good) and always check input pH and EC and runoff pH and EC
I know you probably researched this stuff already in only saying this because pH robbed me a good amount of yield in my final weeks of flowering (on my first grow)
you have come to the right place everybody here is nice and willing to help you
Good luck grownie
Feel free to tag people it’s not a bother
I second Jacks321, super easy and effecive. PH going in should be 5.8-6.2 range. I go right in the middle at 6.0. You will water daily, as coco doesn’t hold water like soil does. My flowering girls and some late veg plants take a gallon per day per plant. Coco is super forgiving and great choice for growing cannabis.
Edit I didn’t see that you wanted to grow in Coco my bad forget about the pH numbers
1 plant, thats it. Its a 4x4? So to raise more i need a bigger tent? Thank you for your advice.
@Pumpkin
I raise two plants in a 2x4 tent so you can certainly do more than 1 plant in a 4x4.
@OGIncognito may have a concern about the light(??). Or may not have realized the size. Or maybe im missing something?
I grow 4 autos in a space a bit bigger than 3Ă—3
What are the light specs?
That light will be good for a single plant. Add more lights and add more plants. You’re going to want about 40 watts per square foot.
A 4x4 tent will need about 640 watts. Not that much for veg, but you’ll want it for flower time.
I only run the Canna line of nutrients. They are expensive but they produce excellent bud.
Good job starting in coco. It’s cherry forgiving and makes the danger of over watering go away. You’ll just be watering more often.
Happy growing.
The tent looked smaller in the pic, I would recommend starting with 2 or 3. Once you see the end results or a few more grows under your belt learning HST and LST the plant count can go up. For lighting I use 35-50 watts of quality lighting per square foot. Lights with Samsung LM 301H or B diodes are the fixtures I’m referring too ![]()
