Autos Adventurous Grows

They look like they done took an ice bath :cold_face::drooling_face: oh all these notes are stored. That’s for darn sure :love_you_gesture:t3::raised_fist:t3: you the freaking man!! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

As for the leaves you think it’ll be fine hung just like that or strip a few of the inner small ones or just remove all bigger ones ?

Myself if it’s a small plant I’ll take all the leaves that have a stem. And hang it whole. If it’s a big plant I cut the branches from the stalk and take all the fans with a stem. This is a matter of preference and your situation may vary from mine.

I am grateful that I have helped you in your Growin journey My Brother and glad it has come to fruition without any major issue’s :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::flexed_biceps::+1::+1:

:victory_hand::love_you_gesture::oncoming_fist:

If I cut the branches from the main stalk will that make my drying time still last 10-14 days ? I wanna go for the slow dry to make the best of it all the way around. I’m just worried cause it is a pretty big plant. I’d love to hang the whole thing instead of cutting branches.

It’s been a honor to have you guys in my corner as said before yall are the best :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::love_you_gesture:t3::raised_fist:t3:

What I’ll do is cut the plant whole get it hanging in there and spread out and then I’ll take a picture from underneath and above and post back here to get a better opinion. I’ll also take all larger fan leaves with out the resin. This way we know if it’s spread out enough or if we should go ahead and cut them into individual branches.

The key to the 10/14 days dry is the 60/60 has to be consistent 60 degrees and 60% humidity and the airflow doesn’t need to be directed at the plant. You just need air movement. Darkness is a definite plus if possible but not the end of the world

:victory_hand::love_you_gesture::oncoming_fist:

Thank you again brother :love_you_gesture:t3::love_you_gesture:t3: I’ll post back with the chop :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

And we did it yall :love_you_gesture:t3: I think it’s time I picked up new shears cause this stem had to be cut two times from how thick she was :laughing:

@Dman1969 here’s her hanging upside down and the conditions she’s in now. Fan on the bottom of the tent is on setting 1 pointing at the floor oscillating. The fan up top is turned off. The incline fan is put to setting 3. Plant seems spaced out pretty good I think and took off the big fan leaves. Does this seem spaced out enough or should I cut her into branches ?

Incline fan settings, temp and humidity

Bottom oscillating fan

Top oscillating fan

And the massive root system she had and that’s not even all of it because most of it got ripped trying to get her out. She embedded herself, I played well you know :laughing::laughing:

I can’t really tell by the picture but the buds don’t need to touch each other. If they don’t touch and the fans ain’t blowing directly on them your golden. You don’t need tons of airflow just a good draft to pull the moisture out Just enough to feel it. Too much airflow it will dry too fast. The humidity can get to 62 with out major issues just not higher and 58 at the absolute lowest :victory_hand::love_you_gesture::oncoming_fist:

Perfect I will get in there and double check that non of them are touching each other, no fans blowing directly on them :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: perfect humidity will be in check just trying to find the best setting to have the dehu on to keep it in range because it’s going off lung room and not the tent. Maybe try and find the sensor to the dehumidifier :laughing:

When you think it’s ready don’t go by the stem snap crap. Don’t freak out but the buds will feel a little crunchy this is normal. The center still has moisture and it will move out and rehydrate the outside while it cures.
:victory_hand::love_you_gesture::oncoming_fist:

Perfect I also picked up a moisture meter for wood this way I can get them to exactly 11-12%

I’ve never used a meter. Gotta be better than guessing lol:right_facing_fist::left_facing_fist:

Hey listen I’m not as experienced as you guys :laughing::laughing: I swear yall can just look at it and be like mhm that’s done :laughing::love_you_gesture:t3::love_you_gesture:t3:

There is a feel for it for sure. When you cure you want it between 58-63% humidity. I buy the cheap mini hydrometers and put one in every jar to monitor humidity.
:victory_hand::love_you_gesture::oncoming_fist:

I have the 62% boveda packs just incase and I have the grove bags for cure and storage. I put the small hygrometers in the bags with them :love_you_gesture:t3::love_you_gesture:t3:

Here’s a few pics I went in there and I pulled the out colas over the second trellis netting to space them out from the middle. Hopefully these pictures do some justice :love_you_gesture:t3::raised_fist:t3::love_you_gesture:t3:

You’re gonna do a dry trim I’m used to wet trim. You should be good but keep a good eye on them. More of a chance of bud rot and mold with dry trim. You’re gonna have a lot more keif dry trimming. I’ve done it several times just not for me. :victory_hand::love_you_gesture::oncoming_fist:

I enjoy the dry trimming I mean I think I’ll be fine I had two plants in this tent before drying at the same time so let’s :folded_hands:t3::laughing:

@Dman1969 humidity staying around 56 won’t raise , should I run my humidifier in my lung room to bring the rh up ?

Nope can’t fix stupid :sob: I forgot to move the probe to the center of the plant suspended in the air. Humidity a lot better 59%

Glad you caught that My Brother :+1::+1:
If your drying in the tent hanging in the center of the tent is perfect not too close to the plant tho. :victory_hand::love_you_gesture:
