Autopots day 72, Canna nutes

Been a very interesting and satisfying grow.

My first exposure to Autopots. REALLY happy with them. Entire grow using Canna nutes.
Part A and Part B, Canna Boost and Canna PK 13/14.
Absolutely no nute burn or deficiencies. Here I am in day 72, and I’ve just beginning to remove a few large yellowing fan leaves.

First observation. I normally grow 4 plants in my 4x4 tent, using soil and standard feeding and watering methods.
Using Autopots, 4 plants doesn’t seem to be a viable option any more. As you can see by the photo, they’re clearly exceeding the carrying capacity of the text. I like growing several strains at once so we’re not smoking the same strain all the time. I see a 5x5 tent in my immediate future.

Primary light source is a 1000w MH/HPS at 100% for about the first 55 days. However the branches and buds were growing so rapidly they were growing close to the light, and I couldn’t raise my light any higher. Began bending my large colas over, and also dialed back the light to 75% on my digital ballast. I also added 2 cheapo 75w LEDs to try and fill in any gaps.

Strain are
Speedrun Rock Slide.
Speedrun Granite Haze 7.
Speedrun Acid Snow.
420 Fastbuds Gorilla Cookie.

Unfortunately the Speedrun Granite Haze 7 has been kind of a dud. About 1/4 the size of the others.

Wow you plants look amazing!

I just don’t seem to get my plants to grow vertically. I run 4 plants in Tray2Grows for the first time.

These are Mephisto Genetic’s bigger strains, but still they stay squat. I was expecting them to grow upwards too but I guess my style is always producing a flat canopy.

This time I only did leaf tucking and bent the plants main stalks after week 4.

Thank you.

Hey, your plants don’t look shabby. I think they look fine. No deficiencies, or yellow leaves, covered in buds.

However, I did notice a growth spurt when we deployed the air domes. That’s when they really began to stretch.

Enjoy your grow.

The roots sure do like some oxygen. With these trays the pots stay super heavy, so I put the pots on risers every once in a while to let them dry. It’s a little more work but not so much compared to hand watering lol.

I’ll do it once now on the weekend, because I’m off to a trip to Spain next week and the girls will be on their own for 10 days.

Lol, I think I was talking about my plants in my 4x4. 4 plants using an Autopot in a 4x4 just doesn’t seem compatible anymore.

Hopalong’s look fine. I’d be proud of those plants.

Nicely done Grow Bro and glad to see the auto pots are working for you and dialed in :love_you_gesture:

I was looking at yours. You have a full tent, anything less is wasted space and light.
