I did throw one seed out, but was happy I saw the one was good. Do you think it could be a Male plant that’s why it took it’s time? The five seeds I ordered were all auto female. Does anyone ever get Male seeds when they get guaranteed femails?
We do see males, but it’s usually a hermie that was stressed. No real males from seed banks.
Hey man do you use Epsom salt at all? I must have read or seen things about Epsom salt in the millions of YouTube videos I have watched lol. Just wondering what your thoughts are
Epsom salts are used to give magnesium, but if your nutrients have mag in it, then there’s no reason to use Epsom salts. Most people supplement with Cal Mag.

I have a huge thread on my shed grow and it is currently getting upgrades more insulation new grow box
I would say counting lights and gear ran me close to 5 grand but stays toasty even at -20 with lights being primary heat source

@TwilightZone You can get a heating mat at most garden centres. They are not expensive. You can regulate the heat as well.

Hey hogmaster, I am in the beginning of week 3 and after reading a bunch of posts about auto’s I decided to switch from 24/0 to 20/4, the one concern that i have is for the one plant that is way smaller then the other 3 because the seed popped a week after the others, i am honestly thinking that this one small girl will be lucky to make it cuz it is way behind the others, not only did it pop late but it is growing incredibly slower than all the other ones, I am just going to water it and stuff but am not really paying as much attention to it do I dont screw up the big three plants. I will be switching from 24/4 to 18/6 for week 5 and then should I switch back to more light when they start flowering or do you think I should keep it on the 18/6 light schedule for the rest of my grow?? Thanks man I appreciate your feedback
@TwilightZone They’re going to come in different sizes it just depends on how act All of the autos can and sometimes will be different I’m telling you the more sleep it gets the better you can make up your decision on the hours you want to run just Wanted to let you know how I do it but you can do it however you want @Countryboyjvd1971 is growing autos he can give you some tips

So I just checked out his first auto grow grow log and his auto plants are almost twice as big as mine during his week 3 pics, looks like he was running a 24/10 light schedule. Will I f*** anything up with the plants if I switch from 24/0 to 14/10 after three weeks of 24/0??? I am gonna go switch the timer to 14/7. Oh yeah I finally bought a timer lol

They don’t react to the light schedule as gar as flowering is concerned they will flower under any schedule
So you can switch to 14-10 of you wanted to

Plants need rest and do most of thier growing in the dark
I would run 12-12 myself after especially once tbey start flowering
But as @Hogmaster mentioned its your grow
I would log your results as well so you know what works for you

I switched the lights off about an hour ago and just went to change the timer again for the 14/10 and saw that the temp went from 64° to 54° in less than an hour because it’s so freaking cold still here in MA, I forgot that I the light was the heat, I am running to home depot right now to try and find one of those tiny heater things that hang right on the outlet on the wall, that should keep the temp up and I will just put that on the timer to go off when the light kicks back on, its freaking April April and we are getting snow flurries right NJ ow in MA this sucks lol
I run my light at night for same reason a small heater helps

Didn’t think it would be this cold in April, my initial plan was to grow outdoors but we decided to build the grow shed because of my 11 year old son so he isn’t asking questions lol, I am also growing tomatoes too just so he see I am growing them lol, here are the first good pics taken with no led light

Just started on the nutrients too so hopefully next week they will be a lot bigger, I am honestly really looking forward to my next grow lol, I have regular pineapple crunch seeds for my 2nd grow, I wish I did the regular ones for this first grow because there is more time to fix all my beginner issues lol,
