The first weeknor two especially when in big pots vertical growth is slow until the root system is in place they will take off soon
Keep light 18-24 inches above so they stretch a little bit and grow up to light
What type of light are you ising again
Omg lol I had to do the same thing Bc of my 11 yr old. I am now a pepper farmer as well. Lol. Supplies and time would have been suspicious
Just raised the light, thanks
Hahahaha, yep, peppers, tomatoes, and I am trying watermelon lol, all that crap isnât actually going to make it into the my grow shed though, I am starting them all on the window sill and then I will just plant them outside, I am worried about bugs and dont want all that fruit and veggies near my pot hahahaaha
@TwilightZone Another thing I wanted to point out to you is if you started them in those big pots they will take a little bit longer to establish roots so it usually takes a little extra time but you are on track my friend you have nothing to worry about looks great
They are actually in little jiffy pots that are buried, I am definitely going to use 3 gallon fabric pots next time I grow autos lol. Will I be able to reuse these 5 gal pots for my next grow? I am growing regular pineapple crush after these are done
See they do most of there growing at night they are loving it @TwilightZone
Yeah and they look much better too, the two smaller plants might even catch up to the bigger one, I never did get a heater but it seems to be warming up now so hopefully spring finally will decide to stick around lol
Do you recommend topping these
For a first grow I wouldnât top them you can try it on one itâs all about timing
I was thinking the same thing, I will try topping the little one if she ever gets big enough lol
Hogmaster, I ended topping all four plants last night, I am looking forward to seeing what the difference will be from the 20 day old plants compared to the 12 day old plant I topped, they are still on the 18/6 light schedule, itâs still been to cold for me to switch the lights off any longer, crazy New England weather, next week I will probably need the A/C going to keep the temp down lol, i installed the A/C last week and I know I will need it because temp goes up really quickly in that little shed
Lookin good!
Iâve kept mine on 12/12
KISS (keep it simple sugar)
Yeah, I couldnât do 12/12, I live in Massachusetts and my light is also the heat in my grow shed, I put an a/c in the shed because i was more worried about it getting to hot but we have only had a few days where the a/c had kicked on, its supposed to be 75 later this week so I will definitely be needing the ac to keep the temp at 80
If youâre using it as a heat source as well then I would definitely go with longer periods of lightđ
