Are these plants too crowded? What to do?

I’m growing three autos, at day 50 from sprouting. Two are well into flower, one is in early flower. They have gotten so big the past few days that they really don’t fit well in my 3x3 tent, The outer leaves of each plant are pressed up against the walls and against each other.

I have been doing light pruning every few days (mainly thinning out the bottom. removing leaves that are not getting much light), but this has not been enough to avoid crowding.

I’m running at a pretty low RH, about 55-60% in the tent (and 42-48 in the lung room - I have a dehumidifier running continuously); temp is about 70-72F in the tent.

I have two circulating fans running, one above the canopy and one lower down.

Should I do a more extensive pruning? If not, is it better to be pressed against the walls, or against the other plants?

I think your fine, plants look good.
Sounds like you have good airflow with 2 fans.
I usually cram between 3 to 5 plants in my 3x3. I do rotate them everyday if they are touching the tent walls.
Grow on !
I have 4 now in the 3x3

You should be fine so long as you have decent humidity and lots of airflow.
