Anyone using the ardent FX to make consentraits?
I have one…I have only made butter and oil a few times…been doing tinctures and RSO lately. I use the FX to decarboxylate before making the tinctures too.
Decarbing a container worth of Diesel and trying to decide whether to just add the decarbed weed (ground up) to the brownie mix or to infuse in the oil and bake it using the oil!!! Open to suggestions also going to loan it to a local growmee as he has about 10 0zs 0f "no joke and LA Confidential he just finished curring. That’s just larf left over from trimming, he had a couple of plants
I have always infused into oil or butter for baking. I would think the texture and strong taste of the ground up weed might not be good.
Lately I have been freezing my trim and then rubbing it on my trim bin screen to get the keif. I then decarb the keif and infuse that. I have used decarbed keif strait without infusion on pizza or a salad…like a spice.
I just finished decarbing a container of Diesel I had frozen last March and it is still very fresh smelling and sticky, haven’t screened it. Planning to run the decarb thru a flower siffter and remove sticks and stems and then just mix in the brownie mix and Into the batter and bake???
Do you use the French press gagit to seporate the oil or what way do you extract the oil from the infused larf???
I usually just pour the infused oil or butter thru a couple coffee filters to get rid of the fines. a little messy but works for me.
I do that with keif or when I was doing the actual buds/trim material
