Friend uses this and really likes it. He’s a cookie baking, butter making guy. I’m guessing there’s a lot of options here so I’m hoping to learn as well.
I used to decarb the flower int he oven in a mason jar… no smell until you open the jars but you can open the up outside. Now I decarb after but I use a Source Turbo to extract.
Exactly! I’ve even just been decarbing everything afterwards… it’s just easier for me to remember what concentrate has been decarbed or not LOL… I’m getting old and sometime I forget to label stuff
Been working on extraction, filtering and infusion
Got into this because of an in-law with throat cancer
Had to learn quite a few techniques quickly and how to infuse soft foods and was looking to add thc/cbd to the liquid feed paks (enteral feeding)
When we were infusing simple syrup because of liver issues of the person I was working with nano emulsion was a rabbit hole that I went down a little ways but could not devote time
I started researching with this site
Anyone working on nano emulsions, bioavailability and uptake/absorption
Want to step up my oils, syrups and balms
I have the Levo C and love it. Has a lot bigger capacity than the other Levo’s.
Liquid is 2-6 cups I believe and each pod holds about 1/2oz.
For bigger batches I just toss all material into a big 1 gallon infusing bag, place into the instapot, and cover with coconut oil for 8+ hrs. Can adjust the temp easier under the keep warm setting or the slow cooker setting.
I usually just decarb on a cookie sheet in the oven.
@Caligurl to decarb after infusing do you just heat the oil up to the same normal decarb temp?
