@Closet_Space I just moved out of my closet into a tent hoping for better climate control. In my closet 2.5 x 6 I had the sf2000 and two 600w blurple lights 113w actual each, one on each side of the sf. I put 1 plant under the blurples and 4 under the sf and dried 526grams on the first try and 587g the second one. I bought another sf2000 when I got the tent and I’m about a week or so from flower switch. There are many better lights out there than the sf but on a budget they fit the bill and they are built with the same very efficient LEDs that the big guys use and have a good warranty they stand behind

I’m sure using both would be great. I don’t see a problem with besides it will be a little hotter in the tent.

Awesome, sounds good to me to be honest. I’m not after a 2k,3k,4k,10k dollar set up.
Looking for something budget friendly that will do the job as needed and MH and SPF sound to be fit. I think running the two side by side will be plenty when it comes time to flower. I am only running 3 plants. I might even get one of those blurple lights everyone talks about just to add in there during flower.

So I have yet to purchase a sf light but some studying and what not produced an ideal with all the blurple light experiences I dug my own old lights out and I mixed them with my hid lights I use now. The results have been amazing. I mean almost over night I went from nice to 
.I run 2 1000watt hps surrounded by two 300 watt leds and a 1000watt led in between and by them selves your lucky to get a few ounces after a long flower but combined im almost speechless. You be the judge.

Nice work, @Borntogrow that’s why I SMH every time I read people talking crap about blurple lights. Everyone was growing really good buds under them for years it’s all there was, in LEDs anyway. It will take a little longer but you’ll get something to smoke. I would do a little trimming of your big fan leaves any that are laying on top of each other and make sure you have your fans running all the time to avoid mold
Right now I’m running the SF4000 and two “blurples”. I like the SF enough that I just ordered a sf2000 to take the place of the blurples. They’re going to make for a nice clone room.

We are using 2 SF4000 in a 4X8. After final transplant put them under lights and the completely scorched my 6 plants. This continue even after reising lights 30" and at 50-40% dim. Plants are over a month old, only second grow. We may lose them now.
That’s very unfortunate 
I ended up just going with 1 Mars Hydro T1000 or TS1000 I forget but I have 3 plants going and I have had the light on 75%-100% the whole grow. Veg - flower. Still in flower but here is the outcome so far for the Lemon Skunk .

Turning it up even now will help the buds fatten up good before harvest. Pretty plants

Here’s pictures of the two other plants. All plants under the same little dinky Mars Hydro T1000. Light was the absolute best for the budget friendly closet grow.
Here’s the Sour Kush AUTO - The Sour Kush was stunted 3 weeks due to grower error. When it popped it had the seed casing on her still and I left it for almost two weeks and then removed it and left her for another week. Still nothing other than stem growth and a tan sack at the top. I then read I could have left the skin on which i indeed did and after removing it the next day I had two green leafs and two completely yellow but she blew up quick after I stunted half her life almlost.

Well, I’ve been running mine now for about 20 days. I finished out my grow with it. I like it. I’m now going to be using my 4000 and the new 2000 on seven plants next grow.
