Well I still have a full line of additives and trio from general hydroponics , I do want to move into more simple combos , but I still have a lot to go and feel like I haven’t been using them properly
Yeah I use them, I figure if NASA uses them it has to have some merit. Just drove to the nearest grow store 100 miles away to buy the dry koolbloom cuz I haven’t tried it yet. It was a nice day & I just wanted to look around & drive.
I asked my local grow shop owner “what’s your best selling line of nutrients?”
He said GH and AN a close second
Sounds like it was a good drive 100 miles and still enjoy it , awesome , I didn’t know they use that in space wtf
They are looking awesome what strain?
Definitely a line that requires mastering
2 in the back are white widow auto and front one blue dream auto all ILGM
That blue dream looking good , seams like gh it’s the way to go,you topped?
When I look at what most of my local shops carry, I’m not surprised. The cheapest and the most expensive. Or could be the easiest to find support with and the one with the coolest looking labels.
We are programmed to walk into hydro shop and see what they suggest. But we should be going to our large greenhouse operators and see what they use instead.
wise words
you want the best price quality ratio use what industrie uses, everything they do is optimized towards that quality price ratio. sometimes quality might suffer a bit…
Yes i did top that one:+1:t2:
Only thing I don’t like about GH is their owners, Monsanto.
I’ve used the flora series for a number of years with fantastic success. Until I swapped to autopots…
Needed a less organic approach to the smaller lines so using maxi series atm and it seems to work wonderfully.
I think I got caught up trying to use the entire lineup thinking I’d get more from it… it gave me what I was looking to do but also seemed border line nuclear waste for the girls
I have gallons of gh flora trio here and switched to jacks 321 tontey and i really like the jacks better i believe. Cheaper makes a better plant and way cheaper i believe. I do add some an additives to jacks but i am trying to use up the gh nutes in the hydro buckets fto use them up if not summer time outside will be awful colorful this year lol. Liquid kool bloom and dry kool bloom workz great also.
Haven’t tried Jacks yet but am going to give it a whirl when I run outta GH.
Will be a move u wont switch back. Jacks is super simple. Have great success so far on my first coco and jacks run. Makes a beautiful plant for sure.
Gonna try coco soon too, doing hydroclay now.
Do u jave any issues with mold growing on the clay. Seems like most pics i see with the clay pebbles always looks like tgey have mold on them to me. Just blackish spots all over and that would make me throw the plant away and start over. I did once using rockwool got moldy looking on top the rockwool and i scrapped the plant. Trying again to see if its better for me. I did get a good sucessful grow in hydro with a growers choice bubblegum auto my first grow but had cheap loght. Made some monster looking buds 3 to 3.5 inches round but they were super airy as hell and light. Better lights fixed that problem lol.
If the clay is chipped broken er what ever the insides are gray to black so some of it is just the insides showing. The nutes also play a role in discoloration of the clay when they get dry. 1st few times with it made me question it. I’m sure that it can get mold just like all the other media’s but so far it’s been good for me. I did pitch a GSC auto not long ago but it was due to the plant being a dud. I tried Hydroguard once & it caused some kind of growth & dumped the res & restarted with new nutes & hydogen peroxide added. That saved that grow. Can’t think of any others.
