Ok well adding hydrogen peroxide to nute will kill off any beneficial bacteria in the water that the plants need. It will badicall steralize the nute mix and take away all the good. Hydro guard is just to keep the res bucket in line if u have wacky yemps and what nots. Hydro guard is totally safe to use in hydro i do it alot. It helps tons if u cannot maintain a good water temp like mine. Dont have a chiller so the bucket gets warm inside. Have to ice it down and check ph alot unless i throw frozen water bottges in it to cool water down. A chiller makes the dwc go much better but hydro guard should not make the scenario worse but better. I did notice u cannot do anything organic in dwc as it bubbles to foam and ruins. All kinds of stuff lol.

I did the hydrogen peroxide cuz of a suggestion from Robert Bergman & he said it would last 3 days. I do need a cooler. Hydroguard is a bacteria designed to break down organic material and is good if your trying to do organic hydro, so maybe that was why it screwed up in my res.
