I would like to start collecting pollen and have just bought 20 gorilla glue seeds.
Any likeliness I might get male?
And is it better to use a male or female auto flower for breeding?

I’m not aware of any regular auto seeds available here and these guy are good at what they do so I doubt you will get a male. You can buy or make colloidal silver to purposely cause a plant to hermaphrodite and collect the pollen from them. Just remember to never smoke anything you spray with the CS

Getting a male seed from ilgm is probably going to be pretty rare. Very stable with their genetics and all they sell is feminized seeds.
You could make your own feminized seeds, just pick up colloidal silver and spray a branch or two twice a day from pre flower for a couple of weeks and it will create male flowers and use that pollen on other Autoflower plants that you grow to create seeds. I think that would be your best way to get seeds
STS, CS, are both fine for fem seeds, but not truly all to great for breeding purpose, a selfed plant will just give you a role of the dice pheno wise, you can find reg seeds just need to look a slight bit more. There alot of great banks that I with I could link you to but ILGM doesn’t approve posting the ops here.
I say that because I literally selfed a blueberry auto and then used the rest of the pollen to hit the northern too, both ILGM beans, yea its free autos but I want to stabilize my own auto with the traits I desire.

“Breeding” and STS really isn’t good for that other than a mass of fem seeds to pick a potential seed mom, not to even try to be master but thats what Im doing now is breeding, I have a beautiful Snowryder male literally took me 6 seeds per pot in 5 pots to find him. AN perfect 24 karat Mephisto mom, had to kill 7 of the mephisto to pick her but the vigorous veg growth and tight node spacing made her stand out. The male has probably the sweetest stalk scent I have found on any plant so far,
IF this forum was a little nicer I could definitely give u some snow Ryder regs I solo cup seed ran seed 5 females and have like 400 seeds
ILGM is a seed company that operates this forum. It is against forum policy to advertise other seed site sales. It’s in the forum policy that should have been read.

I was more curious of just seeing if I buy from this site what were my odds of getting a male. 
Everything from what I’m asking relates to only ILGM products and what I can I do with them.

That’s what I was worried about.
From what I read the male phenotypes pollen isn’t as valued as a male autoflower.
I don’t wanna stress it and herm it because then I’m introducing the possibility of others of the offspring becoming male right?

At the moment male pollen is kept kinda on lock(autos are the hype), but I could walk you through the process of building ur own auto strain in a years time, if you wanted to skip the trait selection and just stabilize the auto trait.
This could be done with STS and colloidal silver.
Well I was hoping to be able to cross breed two strains over and over until I get the version I like most.
If I’m selfing the plants I’m just making another female of the same traits no?
And the traits are important to I don’t mind doing it the long way, it would just be one of many plants i’d be working with. But the idea was female pheno type and the best one mate with the male auto flower and keep the process going till happy.
But if STS and that Spray seem to be the only thing, how do I make my own plant from those?

You shouldn’t get any males buying from ILGM. They only sell feminized photoperiod and auto flower strains.

Yes you will still have to pheno hunt with reversed female pollen. If you are trying to breed for any desired trait you have to find the trait by growing said strain multiple times and getting familiar with each trait(pheno) find the ones that carry said desired trait, and repeat the process.
Female seeds have a up side no accidents with pollen, and you can reverse the ones that you notice carry the pheno you want.
Most strains are just a varient of each breeders choice, no bank sells the same strain with the same chosen pheno that made that cross stand out. No breeder looks for the same thing.
