Autoflower - can it produce seeds?

Hi, I have been reading and researching, but still unsure.

We are growing some ILGM Autoflower seeds (GG, BB, and GSC), and wondering if the plant can become male? Are our Autoflower seeds growing into female?

It’s possible if the plant becomes a hermie and produces isolated male parts due to environmental stress. It is extremely rare for feminized seed to produce a male.

Do you have a plant that you are concerned about? Pics?

Are you wanting to breed and produce seeds?

Your auto flower seeds from ILGM are feminized so will be female. They can hermie if stressed too much which will likely produce pollen.

Pollen can come from male plants or hermied female plants.
I hope this answers your question.

If pollen is present they will produce seeds.

Being ILGM, they are feminized, meaning they have a 99.9% chance of being female. That being said, a seed or three isn’t uncommon, either, with no apparent signs of male flowers in the mix.

That’s what we wanted to know, thank you!

Awesome! We don’t have to worry about male plants.

Last year I had six or eight seeds surprise me hiding in dried ILGM Jack Herer Auto buds - I call that a bonus! I hope they are viable, haven’t planted yet this season.

We averaged a couple of seeds every 4 ozs we paid for for about 7 yrs. Based on peeps descriptions of cheaps dispensary dried out weed, we think that was the source.

We have found one seed out of our 3 ilgm autos thus far.
