ILGM Gold Leaf feminized plants produced a lot of seeds — can I grow them?

We just cut our first outdoor grow. Two of the plants are ILGM Gold Leaf feminized plants. They are stunning and delivered a lot of flower. As I’ve been trimming, I’ve found a lot of seeds — 32 on one plant and 62 on the second. Would these seeds be feminized? Can I plant them and expect success? Other?

I need to add a plug for ILGM seeds. These seeds have been impressive and we are thrilled with the outcome. Again. THANKS, ILGM!!!

Dunno. I’ve never planted seeds that one of my plants has produced. I’d expect them to be viable so long as the seeds have matured.

Thanks, @MidwestGuy, I’m tempted to give it a go.

Could recent cool temps at night be the reason they started crnking out seeds?

It’s normal for non-pollinated female to produce a few seeds, but dozens of them may indicate a late hermie. I doubt it has anything to do with temps.

@MidwestGuy — I suspect you have that right. The buds stopped bulking up near the end. I thought we did something wrong, but they produced a lot of flower.

A plant will spend the last week or 2 just ripening flower.

Ahhh … that makes sense. Thank you!

Good job brother man!

Somebody else growing outdoors and didn’t cull the males :green_heart::metal:t2:

Thank you, @Lostgirl !!

@StonedCold13 — They produced an impressive amount of flower. The seeds threw me off. And to get so many is like an early Christmas!

Hay congrats on harvest, it sounds like you didn’t get many so that ain’t too bad. I pollnated just one branch of a small plant and got around 200 seeds. Happy smokin

@Jaysittinback — I have a little trimming left to do, but already have 90-ish seeds.

Keep in mind that those are regular seeds and will produce male plants too.

Ive grown some good weed with unintended seeds.

Plant away. Cull males. I have planted some of every plant i have had pollinate.

I too have had seeds from an auto or two and a few from a photo…I never planted any of the photos but I planted the autos and they were female…luck maybe …I dunno but Ive read (here on ILGM) that your chances are higher that they may be males?

@bigdog1 — Thank you. Duly noted.

@Storm — How did they produce?

@AL_GREEN — Thank you!

Very well. A couple were super good.
