Just curious about California Lighting Solar extreme 250. Are they garbage or not.

they’re good lights the older style used to run fairly hot with the cobs in them I believe the newer ones have groups of the smaller LED diodes not sure on the heat
I purchased a Mars Hydro from their eBay store. They have the FC-3000 on auction every week. I wound up getting it for 167.00 dollars. Its 300 watts , Samsung LM301B diodes and they are on 4 bars in a 24"x24" setup. That California light is 200 watts and only an 8.5" x 8.5" square. May be a fine light but you can get a better value than that. And with a better spread you get more penetration of light to the lower plant.
HLG runs sales all the time and they make great lights.
