I have been using the ACI controller pro with ACI fans and my Marshydro lights for about a year now and because I tend to sit in front of my grows and stare at them I have noticed occasionally the light would go out and then come right back on and the fans do the same thing…I have 2 controllers and it happens to both…I can see in the app that the output goes to ‘0’ during this time…I have the current revision in the controllers…anyone else ever see this?
and Happy New Year growmies!
No help here Brother, only one of my tents is automated using the ACI equipment and it’s the basic controller.
thanks OG…it is so strange … the graphs show the drop outs … at least they come right back on …ahahahahahaha
I found a couple posts on Reddit about it. Those people got replacement controllers as it seems its a manufacturing glitch. I guess it wouldn’t really hurt your grow as long as the timing of your true off on times is not affected.
thanks @Spiney_norman I missed that when I did a search…so far I don’t see an issue because it is only a second it is off…I just did a controller software update about a month back and I thought that might fix it but I just saw a fan go off and on this morning .,. oh well I might try to contact ACI about it
There were not many posts about it, but I did find a couple.
I am guessing its rare.

thanks for the link…
Could be really bad for the drivers.
I’ve read they don’t like being turned off and right back on.
hey there @StonedCold13 … I had not read that thanks for that info…when the lights go off they come back on in steps…
Just something I read around here last year or so. My drivers have been through hell since I built them. Elec company was having trouble the last couple years and we have had a lot of fast outages, flashes, long outages. But my drivers are still driving
I managed to hack my AC Infinity controller and also hack the AC infinity and now I run it through home assistant also you can buy little $5 chips and hook them up to any exhaust fan including the old big steel and metal case fans you can control it and set it up through your home assistant control everything from a control panel including nutrient dosing you can mix your nutrients and everything from a control panel nutrients fans air conditioner lights everything
Here’s some links if you’re interested… In an all room automation you can literally run your grow room from anywhere in the world including irrigation mixing your nutrients and watering your plants and emptying your reservoir all from a click of a mouse.
no links @ChaoticGeneticz
I had this happen to one of my fans. I unplugged it from the wall and the controller and plugged it back in and haven’t had a problem since.
This was just a few weeks ago.
morning @Autos-only thanks for the input…I have noticed my lights are not going on and off since the firmware upgrade a week or so back…I unplugged the one fan I saw and reposition the cable better and have not seen it stop since them…so maybe the firmware fixed the main issue and this one fan just had a bad connection due to always rotating…we will see
Good to hear! I was also afraid of a bad connection or weak wire from the Constant movement, I was honestly very close to just replacing it in case it was a fire hazard (somethings just not worth the risk) I’m glad I’m not the only one who had this happen, sounds like just a firmware update.
Happy new years!
Happy New Year growmie!
well I have still been seeing the issue but only on 2 fan lines …today is another firmware update from ACI so hopefully this will fix it…have a great smoke session growmies
Have you really? I have not seen this issue at all since. Let me know… interesting
