AC Infinity controller 69 Pro

Does anyone know if the new spider farmer 4 inch in-line fan will work with the controller 69 pro? It looks like it will plug in fine but I don’t want to risk messing up the fan or the controller .AC infinity says they have no idea since it’s not their fan.

Why would it mess up the controller just testing it out? Unless theirs for some reason puts out more than normal voltage over usbc. Just look at specs. Thats if the fan is going to power the controller.

AC controller 69 pro is powered with 10volts and 1 amp current. Found that as they sell a wall adapter to power it without their other gear like exhaust fan. Not sure what the spider outputs if anything.

I dont see any of their fans having a usbc cable.

I believe there’s an adapter for the fans but it’s been a minute since I looked up which one. They sell all the adapters direct from their website and most on Amazon. I use the one for the SF4000 light. Just Google “what ACI controller adapter for (model number) inline fan” if it’s not clear based on the cable connection type. They list a lot of the model numbers with the adapters under their accessories on the website too but you’d have to click through them all.

Thank you for all the answers and suggestions. The spider farmer has a 10v ec motor, same as the ac infinity but the plug in connection is different. SF model has a four pin connection, so it would need an adapter. I have the spider farmer in a 2x2 tent with a SF 2000 pro. It does a great job regulating the temp and humidity. The ac infinity is in my 2x4 tent with a SF 2000 and a SF 1000. Together they produce a little more heat and the AC infinity just can keep up past 80% of the lights. The spider farmer in-line was in the 2x4 and did fine. At this point I think I’m going to put a second exhaust fan in the 2x4, which I already have new in the box so no extra expense. I would have put the SF fan back in the 2x4 if I could hook it up to the controller but that’s not going to work out apparently. Thanks again for all the help and suggestions, I’m relatively new to this so learning as I go along…

They make dogals or adapters that can connect all kinds of brands. Just may not be able to adjust speeds but only on and off. Ck with them they are on top of that chit.

I had same issue, i never had luck with finding anything to control the speed. Ended up just biting it and buying ac infinity fan and using my old filter with it. I figure i have an emergency backup if one of the other ones fail. Post back if you get it working please.

That’s their plan! At least it one of the best fans anyway. IMHO.

I added a base model 4 inch in-line spider farmer I had new in box and set it at about 4. Then I can use the ac infinity fan with the controller to regulate the temp and it works fine. I just don’t understand why the ac infinity fan can’t keep up as the sf model I had in the 2x4 worked great regulating the heat .
