What is everyones thoughts on the new ac infinity fans? They have the manual oscillating for $40 and the automatic oscillating $50. I feel like they are a bit expensive but then again they tie into your controllers for automation and fit on the tent poles. I think personally id rather wait for the s9 to come out and get 2 of those instead of 3-4 s6 fans but then again are they that much better than your regular run of the mill fans? Boasting 315 cfm. Sounds good but honestly does adding a better fan do much for you anyways besides dropping temps and humidity a small amount? Will you be getting one of these?
I’m running off bad memory but I think @Flipdawg08 or @Tylersays or @HappyHydroGrower or @Nicky or maybe @SilvaBack203 or @Carpenter has the newer AC fans? I cannot remember who it is but I remember the review was something to the effect of “so good I need to buy another.”
Thats good to hear. The CFM definitely surprised me as i usually see a number like that on inline fans. I cant really compare them to my $12 amazon usb ones as they only had a rpm rating of 2150 on max setting so that doesnt give me much to compare to but ive read quite a few good and bad reviews. Mostly the bad ones were people not reading the descriptions properly and getting an a6 when they wanted a s6 the oscillating one. I guess if you were to compare these to the secret jardin brand tent pole fans they are definitely worth it lol. Just curious if they are worth the money
I’m actually running a Vivosun 8” 3160 CFM
Only AC infinity I have is my clone tent.
Grow buds has a good isolating fan with pole clip they’re pretty nice they sell them on Amazon as well I think they’re 40 something bucks
I havent used them but as always don’t get oscillating fans, they have plastic gears and break.
I just got 2 monkey fans 30w I may have to try the AC clip fans… Oh its a 6" dang yeah I’ll sti k with monkey fans until someone builds a pole mount for the Amazon basics fan. It’s by far the best I’ve used
Just got these they will be my go to, have two will buy more. I found a dealer way cheaper than amazon so I don’t recommend Amazon for this product
The post reminded me I ordered the S6 fan when first introduced. It is still in original packaging on a shelf waiting for a 3 year old monkey fan to die.
The fan had a little discount for preorders. All in with shipping $51.
Like all AC products, the packaging and protection used is top grade.
Good to hear the monkeys doing well.
Yeah a 6" fans to small, meant for a 2x2 any other tent should be using 30w monkey fans (in terms of clip fans not exhaust fans)
It’s in a 3x3 with a 6" terrabloom intake fan and I also have a 8" fan on the floor. The oscillating fan is to give the plants a breeze when young and then over the buds
I run anywhere from 4-6 6 inch fans in my flower tent with a T6 cloudline and its a 6x4x8. I just felt like they were hardly moving any air but wasnt sure if there were any benefits to upgrading from my standard 6 inch fan to one of those
I have the a6 fan and love it specially now connected to the controller 69
I own 5. No regrets!
I own one as well, love the oscillation, its really good tbh, strong wind speeds at level 10 as well
How many watts is it anyone know
Power is listed under technical specs tab if you click on it. Looks like 6" listed as 12 watts. Different size probably different amount of power.
I have 3 of the 6" that oscillate, and 2 that don’t. Great fans. Not sure about the power draw, but looks like @dbrn32 looked it up.
So how many fans would you guys recommend for a tent thats a 6x4x8? My usual setup is one per corner 2 low and 2 up high and sometimes 2 on the floor as well but like i said they dont move a lot of air to begin with
@BigCat420 I’m waiting on the AC oscillating fan to arrive. @Bulldognuts just put 4 of these in his grow space
@OGIncognito yeah im thinking that will be my next upgrade to the tents. Just hooked up HVAC to my flower and veg tent and that was a tremendous help with temp and humidity
