Yes LOVE this automation effort. But what bugs me with AC is having to have the internet avail for full ops.
I see more and more people just freely accepting BT and WIFI auto connect routines, requiring logins to the motherships, etc for systems to be programmed or operated AFTER you already purchased hardware.
So…like software rights, you are giving away ownership of hardware now as well and also granting an access path into your home network!
Granted, the mfr might not have nefarious plans, but come on, the gov’t can’t even protect your on-line info let alone handing over a pathway to random companies.
People DO get what they ask for. Just pay attention to what you’re asking for.

Another reason I don’t use controllers , the pin tooth and wheel timer never let me down yet and so much cheaper
