AC infinity controller screen lock

Anyone here with an AC Infinity Cloudline with the temp and humidity controller? It shows a locked screen and would really like to be able to turn it on and off etc as well as use the functions.

I have no ideaā€¦ but absolutely love seeing you ask a question :joy::joy:

Hold the leaf button down for a few seconds

Itā€™s either the leaf button, or menu button above it. I just pushed it today. Mine was randomly displaying Celsius.

Thanks. It actually took a couple of tries but eventually it went out of lock screen. This is a whole house 10" fan pulling air from the attic and pushing under the house to dry it out. Currently 87F and 41% humidity.

Did you buy a 10" cloudline just for that? You know youā€™re gonna have to get one for your grow now lol.

Oh, yeah: maybe not a 10" ($350 delivered) but I could see maybe an 8" with their new smart controller. I snaked the probe through the floor then crawled under the house to route away from fan and climbed right back out. Iā€™m too big and itā€™s WAY too tight: 16" between joist and dirt.

I have t4 and s6. Using s6 now and dont really feel the need to go back to fancy controller. The speed settings alone are so good you can dial in without needing any automated controls.

Trying to find the highest setting that is still not annoying and with it boxed into a closet with insulation and plywood, I can live with it at ā€˜8ā€™. Going up to ā€˜10ā€™ doubles the noise level.

i found 4 to be ideal for noise. Its also the amount that cycles my room well. So I guess I lucked out on the size thing.

What is this ā€œnew smart controllerā€ you speak of? I use a pair of 6" ones for my flower tent and think I am going to get another set for my veg tent.

This is my experience as well. I have the T6/S6 combo and was running it with the auto settings (max/min temp/RH) and had a hard time keeping both temp and humidity in line. But running them consistently at a setting of ā€œ3ā€ got my environment just about perfect.

What is your temps like during flower?

I tried to keep around 75 to 78 to not cook off terpenes.

Interesting. I have been running 80-84F with lights on and the plants I just harvested are the terpiest plants Iā€™ve grown to date. Could be the way I dried them, too, though.

This is the one thing Iā€™m lacking in my grows is the intense aromas in the finished flower. In discussion heat was brought up as a concern so on this last grow kept things both at a higher RH and a lower temp but only limited results. I need to run a known cultivar and see what affects terpene retention.

I am conscientious about the dry and get between 7 and 10 days before putting in jars.

Now, I have to caveat everything with ā€œit could be geneticsā€ etc. - and I changed quite a bit of factors on my last rotation (different light is the major one). That being said, I donā€™t feel like my tent smelled any more intense than it has in the past but itā€™s really hard to quantify that. I can say that I did dried the plants whole in my basement at 50% RH and 65-70F temps until they were dry - some took longer than others depending on density/etc. I then trimmed them with my bowl trimmer per usual. When I jarred them the hygrometers read 58% in the jars after two days.

Both plants - the ā€œpure indicaā€ and the very-sativa-leaning expression of Rosetta Stone - are the most intense smelling plants Iā€™ve jarred so far. The indica needs a cure - itā€™s a little harsh. The RS is good right out the gate.

I wonder if this wouldnā€™t be phenotype/cultivar dependent. Afghanica/Indica strains might balk at higher temps, but equatorial sativa strains might enjoy/prefer higher temps (with higher humidity as well). It could very well be that we need to be mindful of temperatures between 70-88F indoors depending on the particular phenotypes expressed.

One last point - I boosted sulphur in flower on this grow with my nutrient mix.

I didnā€™t add a lot of sulfur to this grow but likely genetics of this one plant. A more valid experiment would have been multiple plants in the grow.

This is one factor I intend to maximize when I get set up as I love a good terpene profile.
