1st journal! 3rd grow, QB'S & FFOF soil w/ WWEF seeds

Gotta pick neuts. Temp 80", ph going in was 6.6
TDs # 1800± out 500± going in. Tap water was 300± before neuts. ???

@BobbyDigital, @MrPeat. Gave her a good drink this morn. 1 gal ph water.
Ph tap= 7.5
Ph in is 6.4
TDS tap= 286
TDS after Ph adj. =265
Runoff
Ph 6.1
TDS= 2386
A few yellowing leaves, removed
2 edge bunnt leaves removed
She seems to be rebounding ok so far.

Any ideas or suggestions???

That output ph needs to come up. Odd that your tds dropped in your water after ph’ing and also odd that the ppms in the plant are going the wrong way. Thinking you have some root matter breaking down causing the ppms to go up. Think next water you should flush her out for the pre-flip flush.

I usually don’t see my ocean forest hitting 6.1 till around mid-late flower. Which also suggests you have root matter breaking up acidifying the soil.

I may have brain farted when I did that feed. IE: didn’t shake 1 neut , misread meters, maybe I shouldn’t have had that bowl first! But I agree the #'s dont make sense. These from today Are Correct (double checked, and no bowl first LOL) this may just be a self inflected wound.plant seems ok so I go on from here. Will wait a few days and watch her, then reconsider flipping ar that point. Input greatly appreciated.here is a pic as this morning.

The more I think of it , I must have over fertilized. With today’s readings , the soil still plenty of neuts left in it.

@BobbyDigital how do I raise the ph out? Is it a matter of increasing the ph going in???

Yeah, that’s why I was saying earlier you’ll want to add water closer to the 6.8 range. Even a neutral 7 isn’t bad. I don’t typically see my soil dip until mid-late flower.

Good to know! I can raise the ph to 6.8 or so on incoming no problem. Will pay more attention on ph out than I have.

I believe I have been trying to make her work on my schedual as opposed to me responding to her schedual, if you know what I mean. Good lesson learned maybe!

One of the hardest lessons to learn, lol

I don’t do all that. I had my time as a Biochemist and plan to keep my technique as simple as possible. I’m tired of all the science stuff. I just want to grow and what not. What I get each crop is what I get.

Long as I can get a 1/2 lb dry off each grow cycle that will set me for years to come or where I can really expand my knowledge into making either THC capsules or CBD ones.

This next crop will hopefully yield at least 1.5 to 3 lbs. These 4 plants have been entertaining to grow due to having swum a 25 mile race in my Toilet. Hahaha

@BobbyDigital. Gave a gal of ph water at 7.0 in.
TDs in was 300
Tds out after gal 1079
Ph in 7.0/7.1
Ph out 6.2./6.3
Still have a leaf or 2 browning at edges but less and less.

Feedback on running another gal thru ???

Those numbers are looking better. Would probably do 1 more water only when she dries, then she should be down to the point of needing some food.

Appreciate you holding my hand thru this.LOL so let it dry (2/3) days max rinse and replete! Thanks again.

Yeah, just remember to collect runoffs so you can see a trend in your ppm. Hopefully you’ll be around 800ppm or so after next watering.

Hope so as I want to flip them soon.
But want to be able to give them the bloom neuts and start them right. So patients I guess. BTW I hate patients!

Getting ready to feed this morn (ph ed water). @BobbyDigital what ph going in would you recommend at this point. Still having leaves showing burnt tips and edges.

Would be going in at about 6.8

Thanks for the input.

Well I’m confused! @BobbyDigital
This morn readings.
Tap= 6.8 ph in
Tap=335 TDs in
Ph out= 5.8
TDs out= 969
Also, went up to a gal &1/2 total water.

Damn, you must have some decomposing root matter or something going on. I don’t usually see it tank that low until late flower. Can’t see a salt buildup being an issue as you barely touched the liquid nutes. May need a couple tablespoons of dolomite to top dress with.

Is there a substitute for dolomite.
