Welcome to the forum. A lot of good info here :grin all ready: Realistically. There is not any need that I have seen my self to go bigger than a 5 gallon for any autos. And even for most photos for indoors. I have never had the flower time extended by much other than when I flower on a 11/13. Then they tend to take a little bit longer. I run autos and photos together all the time. My last auto was touching the lights and the lights were as high as they would go. Sativas are typically taller than indicas though. I do try and time them so the autos get at least 6 weeks on a 16/8 for the veg cycle. All my big autos have been in 5 gallons. I know photos do fine in the 3s. So I want to try a few more autos that way. I also run autopots now. So a 5 gallon is the max for them. If I do a single plant in my 5’ tent. It will probably get put in a 5 as well. I also run coco. So you may need a bigger pot for soil. I have never used that my self.

I have them coming up now. I went with 3 and 5 gallon cloth bags.
Organics original soil w perlite and some Hawaiian volcanic ash from my yard. Light is set at 20% until i am not sure yet! When is the right time to go up to 40 or 50 %?
Light height is at 4ft and all are brand new sprouts.

I run my lights low till pre flower. Then I go to about 70% and then full for flower. What is the lowest watts your light will go down to?

120 watts is the low setting.

Cool, I run 120w for veg on my 260 lights. I am at about 16 - 19" off the tops of the plants though. I think yours was way over that if I remember right. That will give you a lot of stretch.

Yes mine is up at 32 inches. I will bring it down some as my Bruce Banner is already stretching.
I was just scared to burn them since this light is a 650 beast. I didnt trust the 120w setting because it still seems as bright as my HPS back in the 80s lol.

With the LED lights. You can grow right up to the lights. For my old Viparspectras. I would be burning plants.

I think I may have a picture of one plant an inch away from my light in my last grow. You will see the top kind of flower. Like a dandelion lol But no harm

And please do yourself a favor, if you’re going to make a purchases, run it by the folks here before you pull the trigger. Too many of us have wasted money on things we immediately upgrade

I live in high humidity. I leave my exhaust fan on and my two fans on in my tent
I also spray mold spray from I♡GM but still have white fungus or mold on top of the soil.
Any solutions? E.g. purchases i should make?
@Robbtower1, i will put my 2 cents worth in on the grow bag sizes, it’s all relative to how long and big do you want to grow the vegetative stage of your plants. If your growing autos to full size a 5-7 gallon is sufficient. I grow photo’s in a 4x8x80, lit with 2 spider farmer 4000’s, i use 10 gallon bags, i take more time in veg and i grow them big. 150 days to harvestby that time my plants are pretty much rootbound in 10 gallon bags, last grow i harvested almost 5 lbs of huge colas off 4 plants. This grow i went with 3 plants, im a week out from harvest. So no numbers on this grow yet. Now with all this said, there is always room for improvement so next grow i will cut my veg time and scrogg 2 plants in the 4x8 and see how big the yield is. Happy growing!!

Dec 1st. They all are doing great…The Bruce Banner is being passed up by the GGlue and GSCextreme. Purple Punch has the most buds. I will be so glad to not have to pay sooo much for my medicine now since i grow my own! What a blessing! Amen?
