Zampano's 1st Grow Journal

Looking at your plant, despite it’s indica dominance it’s definitely taking on it’s sativa look and growth formation.

During harvest I would definitely leave every single fan leaf attached during the dry (cut off nothing) this will stretch out your drying days by one or two extra days.

What…what is this crystal on this bud?

I opened my tent up and this what shining under the light.

It cant be bad…it can only be good, right?

She really doesnt have many left, but ill be sure to keep everything that i can.

Admittedly ive gotten a little lazy with taking off any dead, brittle leaves. Ill clip a few here and there but by far and large i just let nature take its course.

Needless to say my tent has little bits of leaves all over the floor. I clean them up the best i can but its hard to reach around to the back these days.

Ill definitely need to give the tent, filter, etc a good wipe down.

I wouldn’t be too worried about them crystals.

I’d be more worried about that nanner popping out your bud!

Ah hell. I dont even know what that means but it sounds bad.

Do you see anymore any place on that plant? Use a microscope if you have to

Is that another one or the same one?

I think that’s another one.

I gave her a good look (best i could) and it looks like she has 3, all in the same neighborhood, all just below the main cola.

1.) Take a spray bottle of water and spray them with a squirt or two. (Enough to get it wet)

2.) take a scalpel and cut it out of the bud. Do not cut the nannner open and do not squeeze it. If it opens you’ll pollinate everything.

3.) Flush them down the toilet. (Or eat it)

I know this is an urgent issue, but can it wait until morning? Lights out in just about an hour and i dont have a scalpel that would do the job - i can do it first thing in the morning.

Kind of scared ill f**k it up. Whats the worst that can happen, worst case scenario?

Use a pair of scissors, snips, tweezers.

It’s like cutting a tiny piece of bubble gum out of your hair except not doing it the consequences are greater.

You can wait till morning. But don’t say I didn’t tell you if one opens up and pollinates your entire plant.

I ended up removing 2 last night. I think tje 3rd one i saw was one of the same ones, i could not find it.

Ill have to remain vigilant these next couple weeks. I thoight it was smooth sailing from here on out :face_with_spiral_eyes:

That’s what I told you on the phone is that I thought one was a duplicate image.

Nevertheless, I’m still not 100% that it was nanners. They look like unformed sacks. They have the correct color of nanners. But you did the right thing getting rid of them.

Just keep an :eye: eye out. No one wants to smoke a tranny plant.

Don’t forget on your 50% in reduction Feed this week your still using 5ml of silica everything else is 50% of what you have been giving them.

Just wanted to point that out so there was no confusion.

Heading to the Turkey Farm in a little while to pick out are Thanksgiving bird. It’s the third year we’ve done fresh turkey. We’re going with the smaller 21lbs-24lbs this year.

We did the 30 pounder last year it was way too much :turkey:.

Popeye’s Chicken does a deep fry turkey with all the sides but you got to get on a list and it sells out fast. I want to try that next year. A few of my union Brothers have said it’s truly worth it.

Thank you for the reminder, i imagine she only has 2 more feeds (tomorrow and Saturday by estimate) before i go to her water-only feed for the remainder of this grow.

You had asked awhile back what the ph of my tap was and i believe it was in the high 7’s. Im not sure if tap will be alright for water-only or if i need to use distilled water?

Thats still a week away so i have plenty of time to figure out the details.

Wife has my butt outside decorating for the upcoming holidays. We’re going to have a full house next week - all the adult kids are coming home to see momma. Ill be sneaking off with the “cool kids” to do fun stuff.

You’ve been utilizing nutrients that uses chelation in week 8 you will be able to give your plant 2 water only feeds without phing the tap water

In week 9 the chelation will more than likely be depleted so you’ll return to week 9 using distilled water for your water only feeds. You will *not" pH the distilled water.
