I have a 1 month old white widow auto that just today now has a couple of leaf tips that are yellow, I ph the water 6.3-6.4 so that shouldn’t be the problem soil is the same it’s been the whole time so it shouldn’t be burned, I have some jacks 321 but haven’t used it yet is it a nutrient deficiency? Should I start feeding?
Unless they spread off the “nails” she is pulling in max nutes. A little painting of the tips is ok.
looks good to me, like @Storm stated alittle painting on the tips is ok.
Possible rootzone issues (soil staying consistently too damp) - possibly just beginnings of heat stress. How are leaf surface temperatures?
I just watered to runoff and got a ppm reading of 4150 that doesn’t sound right but I calibrated my ppm meter, plant also is big now and seems healthy
High runoff is entirely possible. Think of it this way - your ppm meter is just measuring “stuff” in the water. Expended nutrients (“salts” colloquially) are also “stuff” according to a meter. So by watering to runoff, it’s entirely possible that you’re simply flushing out all the expended nutes/salt buildup that was hampering your rootzone.
I would probably run a little more water through her to try and get those runoff numbers lower (between 800 and 3000 is where I aim in soil, so pretty big target).
You most certainly can wait until it’s time to water again, unless she looks stressed out like she needs help sooner.
Thanks! This is her now, the top bud site is a little burned cause I was out of town and it grew like a foot and touched the light, but besides that how to we feel?
She looks pretty happy and healthy.
