Chlorophyll has not filled in yet and it is normal for new growth to be a lighter color of green. It will darken over the next few days.
Miracle Grow is terrible for cannabis. It submarines your pH and nukes your plant with nitrogen every time you water. Suggest transplanting into a soil that is properly buffered for cannabis such as a Fox Farm soil, Coast of Maine, Roots Organics, or Black Magic.
Be careful and avoid overwatering. A plant that size only needs a couple ml of water per day. Increase watering quantity as the plant grows, but never water more than the plant is capable of absorbing and drying out the soil within a couple of days.
Thank you for replying, good to know that it should change in the next couple days. We have Fox farm Ocean Forest soil, what are your thoughts on using that soil?
PS: That light color you’re seeing on the new growth? You’ll also see that when they are getting ready to start to flower. I’m not sure if that’s a universal thing, but all my girls have done it (so far).
I figured as much and that’s why I stuck my oar in now. I freaked when it happened with my first girl and I was tempted to poison her (not intentionally!!) with nutes. Imagine my shock when she went into flower at day 19.
Good luck with your grow, don’t hesitate to ask questions.
