Wrm casting tea foliar feed during budding

This may be a stupid question but here goes nothing…
Is it good to foliar feed worm casting tea during budding? Im currently in week 3 of bloom. Im growig rdwc ,using GH. These trees are pretty big. The bud structure is good. Ready to see them fatten. What do you guys think about giving them a spray of worm juice? Ive got it prepared and ready for dlution and application. Thanks for any insight…

I do not spray anything on the buds.

However i do water with compost teas once a week and the plants love it.

You are probably 100% right about this…but…with the amazing qualities of worm juice i wonder what would happen…my colas are still pretty loose right now and aerobic worm juice is like miraculous in what it does for weed …as im sure you know…has anybody ever done it at the stage my pla nts are now?

By the way the strains are ILGM Hero mix pack

They look great! I’ve always stayed away from adding moisture to my buds because bud rot can take down a whole plant…you.may not have an issue growing inside…but outside I put fans on the plants after it rains, buds retain moisture in zone 6a…

@RightAway great advice :love_you_gesture:

I would add it to your medium and not the leaves and/or bud. I grow organically and use worm casting, but dont foliar spray.

I’ve started using composte teas, I dilute and water with it. Just not a foliar spray, even though they say it can be used that way.

It’s almost as if the plants immediately show positive growth and better health after watering with it. Did this once a wewk last season and had tremendous results.

@Derf02368 if you wanna see something really cool, mix in a tablespoon of unsulfured molasses to your water and/or tea. Its makes the girls stand on edge…

Haha yup i also add molasses, then a table spoon of the “fish shit” fertilizer and I use a brand called Boogie brew…then run it all ina burlap sack with an air stone in the bag and one in the bucket…kinda pricey but provides amazing results…a bit obsessed with this brew stuff all I can say is good things about the stuff.

My first thought was how does worm poo taste.
Second was bud, water & humidity = mold

I do not suggest this at all.
Stick to the GH, if you feel overly compelled to give them a foliage feeding, use the GH at 200ish ppm but it not necessarily at all really.
Your in rdwc so it’s a constant feed thats instantly available.
Any boost you want to give, just add it to the reservoir…

Youd be suprised. Worm casting have no smell really. You can smell blood meal a hell of alot more than worm poo :rofl: as far as mold ive never had an issue. I have plenty of airflow and keep my temps and humidity in check. The plants love it. But again, im in soil

foliar spraying during flower?
When I used soil worm casting was a staple.

Not as a foliar, just as a tea when watering

since you use organic do you ever let your soil dry or is it always moist? If it is always moist like mine how do you know when to water and how much? I severely stunted one of my plants with overwater had to pull it.

Ill wait till the plant tells me shes ready for a watering. Ill verify by picking up the pot and if its light, ill water…
