Wondering why some are bigger

Just wondering why one plant would be bigger and one be over 1 1/2’ shorter and not as full when all are in the same water? And some buds look great and the one plants doesn’t

Kinda the same reason we have tall, short, big, small, skinny, fat, people. Ya we all human but all grow different. Same thing for plants, they all have their own differences
Also the plants near the back could b stretching more to get to the light

Thanks this is my first grow and I learn best by asking questions. I do have a light on that side as well it’s just a burple one so I turned it off for pic

Nice grow. Those QB304’s definitely grow bushes. You might think about some deforestation of the canopy. Let some light in to lower buds. Let them stretch out by keeping the light at 24”

Is there any tricks to trimming or things I need to do or not do? @WickedAle

You dont need the burple. The QB’s have already a lot of light.

Pull aside your tops and trim the big fan leaves 9 inches and below the canopy. What your trying to do is expose and allow light into all of the main buds that are forming at the tops and will extend down to 12 inches and more as it packs on weight on the stems from each of the nodes.

What drivers were shipped with your 260 kits? I used 2x 240H-C1050A’s in my 4xQB304 build. This generates at full power more light than a 600W HPS/MH lamp.

Is there anything I can do with the trimmings like ediables or any I do @WickedAle? My dryer is a hog-240h-c2100a

And each driver drives 2xQB304’s? And you have 4x304 boards? Wow those are really big drivers for those boards.

Not much trichomes on the fan leave at this stage. You will see frosty leaves forming around the buds. Those are the ones you want to keep.

What do I do about the top of the canopy where all the big fan leaves block all lower growth? I’ve already pulled back and tied off to trellis net

Here’s a markup. What you are trying to do is expose the tops and allow some airflow and allow light between the buds. Go slowly, but chop away the fans from the other tops covering the smaller tops. (red-tops) blue areas to cut away. You don’t need to remove it all, just create some space.

@wickedale thanks for Clarifyingthat for me I was just cutting below the 9”

@wickedale Does this look like I’m going in the correct direction now?

Looking good. Still quite a bit under the canopy, but it doesn’t have to be done all at once.

In an 8x4 tent you’re running 520 watts of qb total? In a 5x5 tent, they recommend a minimum of 600 watts of qb for best coverage, so for your tent, I’d say it’s a good idea to keep your blurples. They may help boost bloom with the red wavelengths, too.

Pretty pretty!! I’m new to indoor grow myself. I read read read read read! Dig and read more. Then if not 100% sure I ask and all these wonderful people WILL help you to get through a problem.Welcome toI❤GM!

I actually agree with Betty. I saw the plants stacked up in the 4x4 space but didn’t realize you had an additional 2.5 ft x4 under the picture. The 2x Quantum 260’s may be QB288’s and not QB304’s given you are driving with the 240H-C2100A’s. These would be good enough to adequately light ~18ft2 but not the entire ~26ft2.

as Kahlil Gibran said…its all about equal light…

And stand together yet not too near together:
For the pillars of the temple stand apart,
And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.
