Wondering why some are bigger

Is there anyway to actually tell for sure? I bought them used off eBay and they were advertised as 304s

It has the number on the board.

in my humble opinion I think you need another light source or grow less pot next time around…check out SCROGing.

@wickedale thanks I’ll check that as soon as I get home.

@james68 I planned on getting another light on top of the 2 I have now but had some unexpected bills come up the site I started out on and told me all wrong information and that’s why I have what I have once I got a hold of this site my plants have thrived compared to what they were. This is my very first grow so yes there are a lot of mistakes I currently do you have a trellis net in there I just need to spread them out next time but I started out in a 4 x 4 tent with 4 plants

Ya this site saved my first grow I’m very thankful for all the help

Definitely looks like an issue with being underlit on back half. The plants will go searching for light when they don’t have enough.

@wickedale still working on Defoliating I think I still have a ways to go but wanted some other opinions before I chop too much off

I think your plants are looking great. The defoliation will help you bud development and yield quite a bit. You still have quite a bit of undergrowth that is shaded. That can come of , but you’ve done quite a bit that will already help.

How do you like using MaxiBloom? I will be converting to it soon when I flip to flower. Just using up my liquids first. Do you use any silica (ArmorSl) in your mix? Will help stiffen up your branches/buds when they start to pack on weight. It will raise your pH a bit so check your pH after you mix it up with the nutes. Add it first…dilute…add your powders fill to level…pH check and adjust if necessary.

@WickedAle this is what my light shows can’t make anything out of it

Can you take a picture of the entire board? Are you sure these are genuine Horticultural Lighting Group Boards?

@WickedAle I love the maxigrow series plants have really thrived since switching to it in the rdwc system.
This is my newest one right at 3 weeks using maxi series. I use hydroguard, cal magic, liquid koolbloom, floralicious plus, maxibloom and superthrive not sure if any of those are what your talking about let me know so if not I can get some

Looked on HLG and pulled off these pictures from the 288V2 (Samsung). Your boards look right, and are the QB288V2. That explains the 240H-C2100A drivers.

Claims based on US labels. I have found them to stiffen up my branches and the buds burn nicely, but can’t verify the other claims.

Armor Si delivers the benefits of Silica and Potassium; increased plant strengthening and stress resistance leading to increases in agricultural production (yield). Beneficial in hydroponics, Coco-Coir and soilless blends, potted plants in prepared soils as well as for garden cultivation. May be used as a growth enhancer in addition to your regular fertilizers. Use mild solution for young plants, perennials, and as a foliar spray. Use full strength solution for fast growing annuals during foliar and structural growth, as well as flowering and fruit production. Silica benefits: Strengthens plants, improving plant stature which leads to advantageous exposure of leaves to light. Improves stress resistance, drought tolerance, heat and cold stress tolerance. Potassium benefits: Improves plant growth including structural and foliar growth, increases yield, improves flower and fruit production.

Look like 288 to me, they are definitely 3030 so 301b or v2.

@WickedAle thanks I’ve ordered the armor so and will have it in my water change Monday!

Add it first and dilute it a bit before adding the other nutes. Doesn’t take much. I add 10-15 mls /5 gallons. It will raise the ph a bit so you many need to adjust down to 5.8. maybe 5 mls of pH down or less. Depends on your water.

Here is the GH schedule. I just use the flora 3 part and ArmorSi and nothing else.

@wickedale do I and if so when do I start defoliating my new plant she is going on week 3 now

I like cut any big fan that significantly shades a lower branch, be gentle since autos don’t like much stress so 2-4 leaves/week in the beginning is enough.

Some say don’t cut autos at all so there are a lot of different schools of thought on this topic.

I will be curious to watch, because my autos took forever to enter flowering in my DWC’s. Still trying to figure out why. I didn’t cut until flower and the plant became a 5 ft unbearable monster and after I cut her she was much more manageable. Yeilded 10 Z, so it wasn’t so bad in the end.

@wickedale O wow! I got like 1/3 of a trash bag full of leaves from what I cut. Lol. I would cut a little till I saw them starting to droop then would stop until they perked back up
