Will a greenhouse get too hot?

A question from a fellow grower:

I LIVE IN WEST TEXAS, A SMALL GREENHOUSE WILL GET TO HOT IN THE SUMMER, FOR GROWING,WONT IT?

Add a couple of fans open the peak windows if it has them. Don’t know how big it is but you may be able to build a tent or cover over it during white to reflect the sun.
Now they do sell thoughts stand-up air cooling…I forget what the name is for it. I think Wal Mart sells them.

Hope this helps

If your temp gets like mine here in so cal desert. 90’s-105 then you really need to watch the soil. Mines are taking about 1 gal a day each. Like Will said fans to keep the air moving. A small ac will help.

You need to look into an “swamp cooler”. These are commonly used to cool areas in hot/dry climates.
p.s. I am from San Angelo, but, gone for many moons.
